Ok I take back my 5 star review.. the hand clappers for fund raising makes for an absolutely awful shopping experience. Why in the world would you want the whole store to be that loud? What about sensory overload, ever heard of it!?! Those noises constantly going off make me never want to step foot in the store again! Find a better way to celebrate your wins.

After my experience tonight I can fully understand why there are so many one star reviews here. Every year I do some Christmas shopping here, and always buy a box of Moose Munch for each of my daughters stockings. This year I bought two boxes, just like I do every year and also got a box of salted caramels for each of them, along with some candle, a little coat for my dog, a set of three dog toys, a candle, and a stainless steel steamer pan. This is the only Christmas shopping I did in the store; everything purchased in one visit, so all of these items were on one receipt. One of my daughters is wanting to avoid junk food, so she didn't want the Moose Munch or the salted caramels. I didn't want them around tempting me, so tonight I stopped in the store with the receipt to return them. The cashier stated that only one of the items showed up on the receipt, but not the other. I purchased them at the same time, just like I do every year, so there was absolutely no reason why both of them shouldn't have shown up on the receipt. There was even a TJMaxx sticker on the item. The fact that it didn't show up on the receipt was their error. The girl refused to give me a refund and said the best she could do was give me a store credit. I can no longer trust this store, and honestly, I should have stopped shopping here a number of years ago when they had the data breach and put me and all their other customers at risk of identity theft. Extremely poor customer service.... After I use the store credit they issued me tonight, I'm done shopping here.

Nice selection of clothes, handbags, jewelry, toys, cookware, kitchen gadgets, etc. Clean, but a bit crowded.... there's more stuff in there than you might think!!!

I am a loyal,longtime customer and cardholder with this company today 11/13/2024 I visited the liberty,Missouri store to shop and return a juicer that cost me 150. Plus tax and they refused to refund me my money, the juicer was returned with everything it was bought with and I had my receipt, I used it once and it didn't work properly so I returned to the store after less than a week of having it. I refuse to give this store anymore of my business. The juicer wasn't damaged and there was no reason in their policy that I shouldn't have received a refund.

Went in yesterday and politely asked if I could get a discount for an open AND damaged box. It was the last one on the shelf so I couldn't just select another one. The cashier was polite and said, "usually no, but I'll ask my Supervisor." Great, Supervisor comes over and is immediately rude and combative. Whoever the Supervisor was, shouldn't be working retail. Her snarky attitude was unnecessary especially since I was never rude to her or the cashier.

I just got over the phone with Amber who went above and beyond providing services over the phone. She never once made me feel like it was an inconvenience to look for an item and place it on hold. I was unsure of what size my son would need and Amber even offered to hold the next size up just so we could make sure I was able to get the correct size for him. I appreciate all that she did and compliment TJ Maxx for hiring her. The retail world needs more employees like Amber!

We only went in for make up and beauty it's, which they always have an amazing selection. Went by the pet section and got some amazing deals.
