I love this vet so much. They are so caring and knowledgable, I went to 3 or 4 other vets before the cat clinic and no one was able to answer my questions or help my cat the way they did! I have an older girl with many complicated health issues and they’ve been consistently so informative and caring and my cat has improved so much in their care. Forever grateful to the staff here!

i cannot praise cat clinic enough. they're our regular vet for our two cats and it is obvious from the outset that they really, REALLY care about getting your cats the care they need. they also won't hesitate to suggest going to a bigger hospital if they think it's warranted - some places will try to keep your cat in house to make more money off you but cat clinic cares first and foremost about your cat's health.
the front desk staff is always super helpful, the vets are wonderful and will explain anything and everything you need, and they're really not expensive at all. i would leave a 10 star review if i could.

I have a cat that will only allow me to interact with her so when she developed a cyst that needed vet care I thought I was in big trouble. After calling the clinic they said they could help me. That help was a mild sedative and very experienced staff. After what started as badly as I assumed the visit would go their knowledge and kind handling calmed her down to the point she allowed them to treat her. Thier vastly superior skills handling my cat sets them far out front of any other vet any of my other cats have visited. Best in town

Update: Dr. Hanson actually called me back and was extremely helpful and apologetic. She made room in her schedule to see my cat the next day. She and her staff were so good with my old man, and she was able to provide options and a treatment plan for what could be going on with him. This was a second opinion since a different local vet clinic had no ideas. The difference in care was noticeable, and I look forward to continuing this relationship!
Original: Very disappointed. I knew I was going to be moving to topeka a few months ago and specifically visited vets in the area to find one for my elderly cat. I really liked this clinic, and asked specifically how far it they were typically booked and how they handled emergencies. I was told they could fit in emergencies with short notice and standard appointments were usually available within the week. Well, I just moved in and my cat stopped eating. I called and was told they could fit me in in a week, otherwise I could go in to Kansas City..."good luck". I guess an 18 yr old cat who isn't eating isn't seen as a big deal. (My other old cat stopped eating and despite vet care, had to be put to sleep 3 days later, so..) At my previous location i used a cat only clinic and was really excited to find one here also. But, I was looking for help and didn't receive the assistance I was expecting based on my visit and the other reviews here.

Took my senior cat in for the first time, front desk was very welcoming, and the vet assistant and vet were both extremely kind and helpful through the whole process with my concerns! They helped get my cat diagnosed to start treatment, and were very gentle. I will be recommending other cat family’s here 100%!

I was referred to the Cat Clinic of Lawrence because my cat needed a behaviorist. After two appointments and I’m hooked! Dr. O'Driscoll listens to my experiences with my cat and gives great advice that has helped him tremendously. Thank you!

All the staff members are so kind, gentle, and caring. Dr. O'Driscoll is encouraging and affirming even when delivering not-so-good news, and when laying out and explaining options. Dr. Hanson kindly took care of a quick visit between emergencies on a Saturday. I have been to vets who are brusque and impersonal, and it's such a blessing to know our fur babies are in good hands.

Definitely one of the best clinics I’ve ever been to. Prices are unbeatable and everyone on their staff is super friendly. Would 100% bring my cats back here and would recommend to friends and family.

Wonderful place for kitties and owners. It was icy and cold when I went. They had coffee and i was able to warm up. Needless to say, both owner and kitty were happy: kitty was happy to come home, owner was warm! Kitty was cared for too!

Did not have my cats best interest at heart. Came in because she could not use her back legs. The vet was rude. Did not do a full body xray, ignored the fact she could put no weight on the front paw. She had broken her pelvis. Left me hanging 2x for refills on pain medication and AGAIN did not care abt the paw. Suggested getting another $240 xray.

If you've got a cat you love you should only consider the Cat Clinic! They have taken amazing care of my boy, they are all friendly, they have worked with me when I was broke. I can't say enough good things about the ENTIRE team at the clinic. Get your cat in there today!
