Terrible experience with this bank, both personally and financially. Not only did they screw up my account, they got offended and disrespectful when the screw up was called to their attention.

Just a shout out to Seth Winchester, a banker at Central Bank. I was in my car at the ATM machine one afternoon after the bank had closed.. Seth was walking to his car to leave work. He saw me having a challenge with the ATM machine. Even though he was off duty, he walked over to my car to see if he could help. That's great customer service, Seth!

Anne F. at the 9th and Kentucky location in Lawrence is the best! She is so kind and takes her time to fully explain the details so I completely understand all about my account. I wouldn't go to anyone else!

We opened an account for our daughter and the personal attention, care and time they gave us was rather amazing. Anne was so careful to explain things to our daughter, to get everything right with our account, and gave repeated assurances that she would be there to help in the future. I was thoroughly impressed with Anne as well as the friendliness of the other staff. The bank manager came over and introduced herself as well. All this for a student account. It was top-notch in every regard and the most pleasurable banking experience I think I have ever had. Well done everyone and thank you.

By far the best banking experience. I have personal and business accounts and they handle both tremendously. Lyn Jaimez opened up my business accounts and continues providing amazing customer support whenever I have any banking related questions. The staff is always easy and friendly to work with. I recommend Central bank of the Midwest to all my family and friends.

Every single branch in town is fantabulous but when people need to start an account I tell them to see Anne at 9th and Kentucky. She handles everything with such care and gets to know your personal needs so that she can get your account the benefits that will actually benefit you. She's also a very calming person so I would definitely recommend her especially to those just starting their banking journey or just anxious people in general.
