I have been going to CPH for a lot of years. 7 pet dogs in all. Everything from allergies, bad backs to cushing's disease, and dementia. They have always been there to help us navigate the well being of our pets. They make us feel like family.

I am incredibly grateful for Dr. Heimsoth and the team at Clinton Parkway Animal Hospital. Dr. Heimsoth is extremely caring and takes the time to understand both my circumstances and my pet's needs. My sassy kitty has had her fair share of challenges, but the office has found effective ways to help her receive the care she needs.
Dr. Heimsoth truly listens to all my concerns and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. She creates a tailored treatment plan that is specific to my cat’s needs. Her attentive approach is a key reason I continue to choose Clinton Parkway Animal Hospital, even after moving to the Kansas City area. Thank you for the exceptional care!

We met with Dr. Miranda Lyon for my Golden’s annual exam. Her thorough exam was, as always, gentle and caring. She has diagnosed and fixed a CCL tear, arthritis, gastrointestinal issues, allergy old age nervousness, and severe travel anxiety. The care we get for our pet is so important that we are grateful to have made the decision to transfer our dogs care to Clinton Parkway Animal Hospital. They have a staff of four or five veterinarians, so you will always find help when needed.

Ultimately, we discovered my dog had a sprained “wrist” or “ankle” but I thought it might be worse than that when I called at 8:30 am. They got me in at 10:50 that day. The vet and all of the staff were so kind and nonjudgmental of my dogmom worries. I’ve been going to CPAH since it was basically just Dr Gary and will continue for as long as I have pets.

Even though they had no appointments available on the day I called, the staff/medical team found a way to work our dog in first thing that morning. Dr. Lyon was great with our dog (as always), and quickly diagnosed the issue.
Staff is friendly and helpful, and it's always a positive vibe in the office when I visit.
I'm very satisfied with the service and care our dogs receive at CPAH.

We have a puppy, Boston terrier. That had something wrong with his ear. All he could do was wine cry and Whimper couldn't handle it. Went down to Clinton Parkway animal hospital. Where the best people we could have ever went to. They treated us with respect. They loved our baby and found out the problem In no time I would gladly refer them to anybody.

Charged us an extra 350 dollars on top of having to come back twice (as in 3 visits in total) to complete routine procedures. I asked the receptionist to show me a breakdown of cost twice before she angrily flipped her screen in my direction. Printing off the charges was out of the question, I suppose. I understand vet procedures are expensive, but when you are paying that much more than you were originally quoted, it warrants an explanation at the very least. I know that they have new vets here now. It seems clear that the quality of care has declined. It was not suggested that we could potentially sedate our cat until returning for a second time. Spending this much money is not worth the number of trips that the checkup required. Our cats are potentially unruly, but we medicated them before each visit. If you come to your first appointment, be prepared to come for multiple days. Also expect to pay more than they quote you.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kauffman, Beth, and the entire staff at this veterinary office. They were incredibly helpful and compassionate when our cat Astra was unwell. From the moment we walked in, I felt reassured by their care and professionalism. Dr. Kauffman took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure I understood the best course of treatment. Beth and the rest of the team were equally wonderful, providing gentle care and support. Thanks to their expert attention, Astra is now on the road to recovery. I’m so grateful to have found such a fantastic and caring veterinary team!

CPAH has been my go to since 2019. So when our sweet boy kitten was having some concerning symptoms, CPAH was able to get us in same day to begin investigating the cause. Because of their quick action, we had answers by the next day and have been able to intervene and make decisions regarding our kitty’s health. HUGE thank you to Dr. Al and team for all your help and empathy during a stressful time!
