No problems usually with grading here. But employee took my card I was submitting to psa and bent it up and down with their hands as if she was making sure the card saver it is in was flexible.

I am happy to put this store back on my map!
I was surprised to receive a phone call from the manager asking to discuss my experience. I went in and ended up having a wonderful conversation with the manager of the establishment who kindly went over both corporates policies and the stores policies with me. Furthermore, he explained that due to the design of the building, smells get trapped withing the walls and was probably the cause of the issue. The store is boxed in on multiple sides buy larger units, which does not help with airing the store out. We had this conversation in the store, which smelled as clean and welcoming like normal. I ended up picking up a couple of items before I left. I want to thank the manager for his care about the customer experience but also his dedication to protecting his employees. His willingness to not only care, but to have put some time into researching the incident before reaching out and to calmly lay out what he believes happened based on his experience was both appreciated and refreshing.
And for the handful of people who might care, I did not find what I was looking for at Best Buy.
ORIGINAL REVIEW FOR CONTEXT:I've had a variety of experiences in this GameStop over the years, but thought it was starting to get better under the current manager. That was until today when I walked in to a wall of pot smoke. The store reeked like a dispensary. Was hoping to pick up a couple of Christmas gifts there, but I'll have to check the Best Buy instead.

The manager at this game stop has been very helpful and offered many options to help me optimize a proper x box series s set up. I’d come back here again and I disagree with the bad reviews on here.

Do not purchase ANYTHING from ANY GameStop!!! They have the worst return policy of any company I have ever shopped at. They do not create lifetime customers. They create one time customers who learn their return policy after one purchase and never return to GameStop!

Love my local gamestop the people are glad to help. If you have questions about a game or device they are able to tell you the pros and cons so you buy the correct game and accessories.

Customer service was decent but new policies have made it such a hassle that I wouldn't recommend making purchases at gamestop. At least not this location specifically. I purchased a victrix controller and 2 year warranty just to be told I would have to wait until they had that exact controller in stock or drive 20+ miles away because i was missing a part that was not only unnecessary but broken. Be aware, you will have a hard time making an exchange if youre missing a single piece that came with the product originally. I would be stuck with a controller that wasn't functioning. If you're buying a controller, I'd buy it online or at best buy where there aren't policies in place that make doing a warranty exchange unnecessarily difficult.

The store manager (Chance) is amazing. A new employee of his accidentally messed up an online exchange and purchase. He made it right and did it with such ease. He's kind, knowledgeable, and you can tell he really tries everything in his power to correct a simple (but truly complex) mistake. I hope he knows how thankful I am for his help. He also really cares for his employees.

I was just in today and the woman at the desk was upset condescending and rude to myself and other customers in the store. She looked totally dejected when I asked her a question and acted like I was a burden for her.
