“Switching to Genesis has been great! Used to workout at Crunch but the crowds were too much and Genesis gives not only space to workout but you get access to machines that you won’t find elsewhere. Only complaint I have had is that the South location is only open until 10 instead of 11 like the North location during the week but that’s fine because you can drive to the other location if needed. Awesome gym”

“I moved to Lawrence in 2020 mid pandemic and had put on some weight that I wanted to manage. More than that, I have a number of old injuries from my rugby career (hernias, stenosis, shoulder separations). Of all the teams I met with Zach and Whitney Schneider gave me the most confidence that they were going to help me work to my highest level of fitness, with lifelong movement in mind, while managing whatever showed up from my injuries.I’m three years in now, and I feel the strongest I’ve felt in a decade. I might not be putting the same weights up in my mid thirties that I was in my mid twenties, but I’m doing things knowing how to stay injury free (or how to shorten the recovery time when they do come).Cannot recommend this community enough. Whether you work with Zach, Whitney, Luke, Matt, Aaron, Issac, Ashley, Thomas; this community is here to get you well, get you moving, get you confident about what your body can do.”

“I like to lift at this location. 4 power racks, 3 platforms. Dumbbells up to 145. Full size pool, I don't use much. Steam room in the locker room, haven't used it much. Dry sauna in the pool area, it's very small and doesn't work consistently. Also hard to keep heat up with people coming and going since it's so small and is open to whole gym”
“I practice at a bunch of different studios across town, and so far I've really enjoyed the classes I've taken here - sculpt & sun flow (with Ambika). The vibe is chill, and the space is pretty. However, not much individualized attention or any adjustments done, so if you're looking for that I would go elsewhere, but the classes feel non-judgmental to me. It's also great to be able to get a coffee after & I really appreciate the scheduling of morning classes (9am & 10am).”
