Hours: Just Food is a food bank in Douglas County that supplies over 40 partner agencies and provides direct client service. It is an excellent and great place for people to go when they are in need of food. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, helpful, and polite. They listen and do great things, inspiring others to do the same. Clients can sign up for a monthly visit by providing required information and identification. The food varies, with Tuesdays and Fridays often offering the freshest haul. Available items include fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, bread, canned goods, and products from local stores. There is a great community support for anyone who can get to the location. Just Food plays a key role in fighting hunger in the community by increasing the availability of a variety of foods and helping to reduce waste.
