Hours: Mario's Closet at LMH is a specialty shop offering prosthetics, wigs, hats and scarves, skin care products and gifts for people affected by cancer and other illnesses. For men and women fighting cancer, Mario’s Closet is a comforting place that restores confidence, dignity and hope through personalized image renewal. It is the only boutique of its kind in Lawrence. A gift to the community from the Mario V. Chalmers Foundation, Mario’s Closet offers affordable solutions to target the physical effects of cancer treatment, including wigs and salon services, mastectomy bras and prostheses, cosmetics, skincare products and more. Mario's Closet is staffed by volunteers. If the door is closed, please go to the gift shop for assistance.
