Founded in 2001, Prairie Moon Waldorf School is a non-profit, independent, co-educational school for toddlers through 8th grade, in Lawrence, Kansas. We educate children to embody truth, beauty, and goodness by inspiring minds, opening hearts, and empowering hands. Waldorf education including parent-child classes, preschool and K-8th grade.

My daughter started at Prairie Moon when she was 2 1/2 and she's now 9. This school has supported her in so many ways and I love how connected she feels to the teachers, her classmates and the students in other grades, and the community as a whole. She loves going to school and I love the screen-free, nature-based curriculum.

We absolutely love Prairie Moon and the Waldorf philosophy. The teachers are wonderful and it is such a kind and loving community.
