Got here Friday at 3:58 PM (fastest I could get here) for a medically important blood draw. They close at 4:00. Door was locked at 3:58 when I got here. Too bad for my health I guess. 4:00 means 4:00. Not cool.
Note I’ve been here a few times and yes it’s awful in just about every way. Apparently having the front desk staffed is too expensive, so there is a front desk, but that human has been replaced with a kiosk. Have any questions? Want to know if your insurance is already in the system? Whether they even have your correct lab orders? Kiosk can’t do any of those things. Just wait until a blood draw person is available (I think there are 2?) as those are the only employees. Then when you ask these types of questions some of them get rude and have an attitude. I would have sorted this all out with the front desk person had there been one.
Need to lie down for 20 minutes prior to your blood draw? Think this could be done while you’re waiting on other patients for efficiency? Think again! There’s no staff so I had to wait in the waiting room 20 minutes past my appointment time THEN they bothered to notice I should have been lying down for 20 minutes. And where did they take me to lie down? A bare exam table in a tiny room with all bright fluorescent lights. No pillow, no blanket, no nothing. Zero thought put into patient comfort. Very little respect for patients as well. Understaffed. Awful company to deal with on top of the rest.

I tried to see about getting a DNA test and it's all automated, I need assistance from a living breathing soul, not an automated system. I can already tell this may be more troublesome than needed.

This is the 2nd time I tried to get bloodwork done here and had made an appointment online only to show up and have a tablet tell me I did not have an appointment. There is never a person at the window to talk to. Terrible system. I will be looking to go somewhere else for my lab work that has customer service.

I had been going to Quest for several years, about a year and a half I had this person that I loved the way she does her job, her name is Jerica, and she is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, I hope to see her more in the future.

Worst place to go. This company does not answer phone. You can't speak to a real person. Their office does not have a receptionist. You use a darn kiosk. Does not work. Just a horrible experience

The tech was great who drew blood. Also, I love the sign in process and the text reminders.

Blood sampling for PSA was done by a friendly and efficient technician and the results were made available to me in less than a day. Well done!

It helps to have an appt. set up in advance. I got there and was in and out in under 10 minutes. I expected delays because mine consisted of a rare set of lab as part of a research study. They had my name already connected to the correct study and tge phlebotomust was fantastic. I am a very difficult stick and she did it quickly and painlessly and it did not even bruise, which is a rateitu. I bruise over the smallest thing.

I have only had one bad experience at this location, but from that point forward, all employees have been great.

Absolutely the worst. You have no way of knowing if they have your order, so you have to go in. Then you find out if they have it or if there are issues with it. Three times I have gone in before they finally realized it was faxed and not sent electronically. Then they screw it up, and forget to do something. Despite the fact that they have the order, they tell me I need a new one. Little things would fix this. A place on your portal that lets you check your orders, or a phone call. Correcting mistakes that they clearly made, and generally being more competent.

The worst. The absolute worst. They kept screwing up my order. You can't call them. You can't message them. You just have to show up and hope for the best - which is not very good at all.

In the few times that I have been to the Lawrence location of Quest Diagnostics recently, the employees there have been extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating…in one instance, I forgot to bring my doctor’s order, and they left my “case” open and on hold while I went home to get it so I didn’t have to sign in again, and a couple of months before that my doctor in KC had ordered a test that Quest didn’t do…so they took the time to find and write down labs that would take care of me. Top notch services and really wonderful employees—excellent job, Quest!

Wow, well I don’t even know how to start this. I came in for a mandatory drug test for all new employees at my company. I was treated like I was a felon accused of smoking crack in prison. The lady was so unjustly rude and mean for no reason. I was kind and did everything she said but her treatment did not change. Text book narcissist and the fact that she is employed anywhere astounds me. I will not be returning here if they paid me and will be reaching out to my companies background check service to remove this location from places to get tested. Do not come here.
