The Rockland is a premier off-campus student housing community for Kansas University students. It offers renovated, spacious, and affordable apartment-style living. The location is unbeatable and convenient, with a bus stop right in front and many nearby restaurants and supermarkets. The management staff is responsive, friendly, and works hard to accommodate residents. Maintenance is awesome and generally on top of requests, though some can get marked finished prematurely. The amenities are well-maintained. The apartments themselves are a good size, pretty cute, and worth the cost, providing a quality living environment highly recommended for KU students.
The rent prices are rising, and as a student I am unable to manage the miscommunication from within management AND work/study fulltime. It seems like the workflow and prioritization of this community is not up to a straightforward conversation. It feels like the guest experience is not a priority.

My experience with Desme the maintenance tech was good! My washer broke down and he came and got it running within a reasonable time!!!
