They offer solutions, not just products. I had an unusual baking need. Not just an out of the box question. My large commercial bank that I have had for 30 years said they couldn't help. The only solution they offerered was outside of their bank and would have cost me 12%. I tried a few other banks without success. Then I took the advice of my sister and my mom who have been using Truity for years. I went to the location near 6th & Kasold in Lawrence and talked to Alex. He didn't have an easy answer at his fingertips, but he worked through his manager to secure a solution that no other financial institution would try. Since then, Alex is my go to guy. His communication is timely and complete. I have also had very positive experiences with the tellers. I have found a great business associate in Truity and in Alex.

I joined Truity back in November and have had continual and recurring problems the entire time. I took out a personal loan with this institution and specified in November I wanted it to get paid, automatically, from my checking account on the 2nd of every month. Every month this doesn't happen and I have to call them to fix it. Just called again. We will see if it changes next month, but I'm not feeling optimistic.

I wired money transfer to pay for home on January 13. Around 1pm.
Next day I have to go to the bank and see why the Title company still waiting for my money? So look like that wire start on January 14...Unbelievable unprofessional .

Really good customer service at first just to get me to sign up for a credit card, when I had problems they only called me once to ask if I was going to pay it and I said yes, then they cancel my card without even telling me. Then I ask if there’s anything I can do and she says no, but they have pay cards?! Us bank has been so patient with me deciding who I want to bank with and I think it’s clear, I’m taking my business somewhere else idec if us bank has a monthly fee at least they can keep the same employees for more than a year. I just also remembered when I got my card they got my name and social wrong…

Notary and Lead Consultant Pavel Selin was exceptionally efficient and knowledgeable. Not too mention his patience and understanding to our family while helping us update and finalize things on our accounts and updating and notarizing my fathers DPOA. My mother recently passed away and my father and I had to notify and update everything. Mr. Pavel Selin did an amazing job at taking care of us during this very difficult time in our lives. This credit union in general is amazing. The branch is full of welcoming tellers and consultants; they all know me by name! They're always eager to answer my financial questions. I highly recommend this financial institution. They also have an amazing coffee machine. A home away from home!

I’ve been with Truity about a year now and have really enjoyed my experience. I recently moved a bit away but love their shared branch service as well as their name it save it that keeps going up in rate! I especially liked working with Josie in the drive through the other day who was helpful in passing along information to the consultants about getting online banking set up. Highly recommend this credit union!
