Today, I visited the UPS store in Lansing, Kansas, to secure a mailbox after dealing with ongoing frustrations from stolen and misdelivered packages at my apartment in Leavenworth. I had enough of the poor service and lack of accountability from the USPS—specifically the Leavenworth postmaster, Danny Gomez.
The experience at UPS was a breath of fresh air. The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional—just like they were on my previous visit. Anneliesse, the manager, was especially outstanding. Her professionalism, knowledge, and kindness made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I truly felt valued as a customer.
While I was at the store, Cindy Wagner, a representative from USPS corporate, called me. I told her directly: I would rather pay $300 for a year of dependable, respectful service at UPS than continue to deal with the unacceptable treatment I received from USPS in Leavenworth.
