I just paid $25 for 2 AMC "matinee" tickets to see a movie that I knew is being released for streaming in 9 days. I was happy to pay the premium to share "Ferrari" with a fellow fan of the automobile company. After enduring 30 minutes of commercials for AMC's club and endless previews of future AMC films in a stuffy, warm theater, I won't be back. From now on I will stream at home and invite friends over for a viewing party with air conditioning. RIP old-school AMC theaters.Location: AMC Elmwood Palace 20 in Harahan, LATheater # 3, Sunday, January 14, 202412:30pm, err I mean "1pm" showing

I have been an AMC Stubs member for many years. I was not aware of a NEW policy that redeemed points will expire after 90 days. I redeemed a significant amount of points earned over many years. Without warning - they wiped them out. I will not renew my Stubs membership. Cinemark offers a one time courtesy if you were not aware of a policy AND HAS REAL HUMAN SUPPORT. It makes me sad - as I love our local AMC - but I will spend my money at Cinemark on their membership as they care about their members. So sad as I was members of both and support seeing movies in theatres. AMC - feel free to have a REAL HUMAN reply to this review. I doubt if you have one on staff.

AMC in Olathe, KS is horrible. Dirty, smells bad, seats very uncomfortable and OLD, sound system very poor quality. Fix this place or close it down!!!

This is the headquarters of AMC, the architecture is amazing and provides a free internal gym for all workers. Movie paraphernalia and art is rampant throughout the building. The main staircase that spans 4 floors is two wood gym bleacher type stacked presentation rooms. There is a private cafeteria where kitchen staff are trained. Side porches and sitting areas provide optional areas for work or relaxation. In all, this place is private but you may be able to get a tour if you asked super nicely; the CEO is open minded and always willing to listen to both stockholders and his employees.

Come to this company if you wanna be scammed by the CEO and the board of directors. I’m sure Adam’s favorite movie is “Inside Job”.

I will be taking my business to Cinamark, Regal, or any other besides amc. How do you have an app, a website, but NO! costomer service contact. How do you take people's money, but it is not a way to contact you guys. Oh, I'm sorry I forgot about email contact. That's right, you never get a reply back or a response. You guys have the worst rating and reviews online. And I now get why the amc brand is diminishing. I'm so relieved I didn't invest in your A-list subscription.

$5 "convenience fee" to purchase tickets online. Wait, would you rather we all go there in person and purchase from the staff directly? The staff that you have to pay for? Nice little trick - automate the ticket buying process - lay off some staff - save money - then charge everyone over $5 for the right to purchase tickets? You should be giving us a discount for purchasing online since you're saving money on staff. It's no wonder theaters are declining in popularity. Wait a couple months and watch the movies in the comfort of your own home on Amazon Prime or Netflix, and the convenience fee is... well, zero!

First you censored/cancelled No Way Back and now my tickets to Sound Of Freedom just got canceled an hour before show time. I've heard stories of discouraging things happening during the showing of this movie but I had hoped it was just coincidence. I still hope so because I really enjoy going to the movies, especially at AMC but it's getting harder and harder to ignore the bias.

Ordered merchandise that they over priced on the item and probably doubled the shipping costs. Arrived damaged as they put it in a box that barely fit the item. Just another glorified garage sale shipper.

I see your overall rating is only 2 stars. The sad part is that you all really do not seem to care. I would say that you have lost 50 percent of your business base on what I seen inside the theaters. I believe there are two contributing factors:1. Customer service behind the counter absolutely sucks. Attitudes and demeanors stand out like a sore thumb. A large percentage clearly show that they do not want to be there.2. Concession pricing is through the roof and out of control. Price gouging is clearly seen. $15.00 for a small bag of popcorn and a small soda. Do you realize I can purchase 36 - 12oz cans and enough popcorn for 12 servings. Has it ever crossed your mind that if you sold product at a reasonable price more would buy? Our whole family ignores the concession because of the cost and trust me, so do many many others. Reasonable prices actually bring in more business. If I screwed my customers like you do my business would go away in a very short time.........

AMC Theaters censored the documentary film "No Way Back: The Reality of Gender-Affirming Care" because they do not want people to know the truth about the irreversible harm being done to people who transition. This film showcases the real hurt, pain, and trauma experienced by victims of the pro trans industry who later de-transitioned. AMC Theaters cares more about the agenda of the Queer Trans Project than they do about the harm being done to the victims of those pushing transitions.

Your online support team lacks any understanding on how to communicate or reply when requesting for assistance. I lost a gift card that was given to me on my birthday and when I requested for a new one it took well over 4 months to get it. This is exactly why I don't go to AMC, I will ask my sister next time to get a gift card to anywhere but AMC.

I asked the cashier if it mattered if I were to choose regular or large popcorn. He said that it doesn’t matter since “they both offer FREE refills”. I bought the regular popcorn and came back with the manager telling me that the free refills are only offered for the large. Regular and large popcorn are a dollar apart and are poorly priced.
