I had a decent experience at CVS Pharmacy. The staff and cashier were welcoming and courteous. I visited on a weekday with a friend to help him purchase a blood sugar testing kit and some multivitamins. They had a good selection, and there was a Buy 1 Get 1 offer on the multivitamins, which was a nice bonus. Overall, the store offers a decent variety of products across their inventory.

Been going to several CVS locations recently searching for the Hello Kitty Halloween greeters and steppers. Finally found them at the Leawood location and was having a great experience talking to an employee who had just stocked the floor. We then proceeded to go to the front for checkout. A different employee approached us. My partner was holding our 8 month old son and employee is talking to my son, when out of nowhere employee grabs my baby’s hand and tries to kiss his hand!!! I have NEVER had a stranger touch or try to kiss my child without my permission! My partner and I were appalled! Luckily my partner turned away in time and told the employee he is not welcome to kiss our son. Employee had already taken our merchandise to check us out. He handed it all back and let us check ourselves out at self checkout. How can you work at a pharmacy and not have an understanding to NOT kiss stranger’s children?? Would have left a 1 star review but the employee we first talked to was so nice and enjoyable. But absolutely will not be returning to this location as I don’t feel comfortable bringing my son in with me.

This is a zero star review. I have never been spoken to so disrespectfully by an associate at a CVS. Jesse, a “manager”, needs extensive customer service training and monitoring! So rude!

Left sunglasses from just getting eye surgery in store. I called and when finally got past computer and asked person in store to please look at where I left them he would not. Said somebody would have already taken them. I said no, too big and ugly from surgery office. Or then maybe turned them in and he has not got them. I said no, people are busy and dont have time to bother turning them in and just keep shopping and leave them sit. So, I said I guess I have to drive to look myself. No response. Also, no pharacist on duty at 5:58. P.m.

Pharmacy staff is very rude, particularly one lady. I recognize they have been short staffed for a while now. Some new employees are under training. But when a trained, seasoned pharmacist comes on and says "what do you want" is just rude and them to pawn off saying "new employee is still under training" doesnt work. Clearly I wasn't there to waste time, so next time what should I say when the experienced one comes to the window and asks, "what do you want"? She's always rude and disrespectful. After2 decades of using this location, it's time to move on. Taking my business elsewhere.

All vaccines they had had expired Went for flu/Covid vaccines. Website said No appointment necessary. Not true!

If you live near this location I highly recommend using another location near you. This CVS is in desperate need of help. They are very short staffed which forces these poor employees to close down the drive through pick up window, extremely long lines and wait times for prescriptions. This location has been this way for over a year and corporate doesn't seem to notice or care.

You can't make an appointment online for a novavax vaccine. The CVS website states that you can walk into any CVS ... apparently not this one. Notices posted at the back. Empty store for a reason. No vaccines available whatsoever because their manager let everything expire. I guess this is what medical care looks like with CVS. Shameful. I guess if the manager doesn't believe in vaccines, the people they are supposed to be serving won't have vaccines.
