warning to all potential customers!!! i have been a customer at this location for six years. no more!! the employees for the most part are pleasant. that all changed a few months ago, when they brought on a newer female, heavy set employee. this same employee, verbally assaulted me a couple of days ago. i mean i have a thick skin, but this woman was so far past offensive, it prompted me to call conoco/phillips corporate offices in bartlesville, ok and register a formal complaint about the incident. i also called the prairie village, ks police department and filed a civil complaint regarding the same incident. i have no idea what this employee's problem is, other than the obvious presumption that she is either acutely bipolar or suffering from borderline personality disorder. i've also scheduled a teleconference with the phillips 66 regional operations manager, to address the issue. i would highly recommend that you avoid this location at all costs! it's guaranteed that the owner of this location, has no idea just what kind of major liabilities his employee is creating in his absence.

I work near this gas station (it's the closes one to my office) however it can be somewhat difficult to pull out since it's on the corner of Mission Rd & 95th but, it's not too bad unless it's rush hour (& if it's rush hour EVERYWHERE is hard to get back out on the road). I decided to review this gas station because~this week on my way to the office I realize my husband has left my car on low fuel (AGAIN) but, I had enough to get to work & to this Minit Mart at lunch. I pull up to the pump & open my wallet only to find that my teenage daughter forgot to give me my debit card back & my husband has "borrowed" my credit card & didn't put it back whn finished with it (AGAIN). Now I'm almost out of gas with no way to pay. I remember I have a kickback card with a lot of points on them so I go in & explain to the very friendly cashier who can't get my points to go through (due to the whole area having internet probs-including our office) so now I'm panicking a little because I have a patient scheduled in one hour. I thanked the cashier for all her time & effort & told her "thanks so so much but I'll figure something out" (as there's now 3-4 customers behind me) & she stops me & tells me to put $10 in. I told her I couldn't do that but how incredibly nice that was of her to offer but she didn't give up & repeatedly told me to "pls just put $10 in. It's ok". Now I'm super embarrassed & want to run out of there but I DO have patients scheduled so I finally tell her I will & thanked her so much. (Me declining was only prolonging the situation & now other customers are offering to help me pay for gas. Omg I was mortified for some reason). I IMMEDIATELY called my husband (who's already going to pay dearly when I get home) & insist that he drive all the way to this Minit Mart RIGHT NOW-I didn't know what time she got off & didn't want to miss her or leave $ with someone else. She's not the owner & it's obvious she herself was paying for my gas. Needless to say, my husband obliged IMMEDIATELY (probably due to a feeling of impending doom.....I was going to kill him when I got home) but he got the $10 back to her & brought me my credit card. Point being~this location has always had the nicest cashiers. In the grand scheme of day to day life, the "niceness level of cashiers" probably isn't high on the priority list but, this experience educated me on how amazing some employees are. She went WAY above & beyond & all the other cashiers at this location have been so nice & efficient. People often get in the habit of complaining when something goes wrong (& rightly so) yet when good/above average service is received, often we forget to commend those who do provide good service. Sometimes people (myself included) take for granted how important the "niceness level" of someone might be. I DEFINITELY would've been late for my afternoon patients so her decision to help me out ended up helping so many other people. She acted like it was no big deal but, many people wouldn't have done that. Kudos to this Minit Mart but, above all kudos to the awesome cashier that saved my day (& the life of my husband)!!!!

Slightly overpriced gas compared to its close by competitors, and it's annoying to have to exit onto either busy Mission Rd or 95th St., but the car wash is really good. And fun! It has a light show and you can tune your radio to it and it plays music in time to the lights- completely unnecessary in life, but super cute. I appreciate that the gas bays are well lit, everything you need for windshield washing is available, plus they have trash AND recycling bins, and hand sanitizer dispensers. That's a nice touch.

The selection of on-the-go drinks and hot foods was okay, with a small roller grill, a small cooler, an ice cream freezer, several World Blends coffee options, and a soda fountain. The sales area was well lighted and clean, with friendly and helpful service. Outside there were Purell dispensers at the pumps, a 24 hour car wash, restrooms, air, and a vacuum. The Phillips 66 brand gas price was competitive. Overall, A-OK.
