I moved from Kansas to Texas. The unloading crew was great, and my rep was easy to contact. However, the loading crew was extremely slow and took 12 hours to load even though I already had the house packed up and even moved all of the boxes to the garage. The driver was the main problem. He was really slow and stopped to talk way too much. Then, when they arrived at my new home, I had multiple items broken, including my TV. I filed a claim, and they didn't give me nearly enough to cover my replacement cost. I've emailed them, but they've now ghosted me—an absolutely horrible moving company. Do not waste your time or money. I spent thousands for their services and am now having to pay out hundreds more to replace the furniture that was in mint condition. The “insurance” is a joke. They convinced me that I would never hire “professional” movers again.

Use any company except this one. I made the mistake of hiring Beltmann/North American Van Lines to move my family’s belongings from the Kansas City area, to the Phoenix area.Beltmann sent a very shady crew of loaders in to my home on loading day. A couple of them reeked of pot, but I was out of time and couldn’t afford to kick them out and start over with a new company. These jokers were not careful with anything as they were removing boxes and furniture from my house and loading them on the truck. The real problems began when the truck showed up at our place in Arizona. Smashed box after smashed box was unloaded. The most damaged boxes were the ones with “fragile” stickers on them. Lots of them.My wife’s heirloom Edwardian library bookshelf was smashed to pieces. Her antique chair was broken at the base. Our bed frame was broken, antique coffee table was broken. What really gets me is all the intentional damage that was done by these movers. At least one of Beltmann’s crooks repeatedly struck my two office safes with my 30 pound kettlebell. I have extensive photo evidence. Both must be replaced due to this damage. My BRAND NEW dryer was destroyed due to a Beltmann loader apparently stomping or jumping on it hard enough to smash in the top and detach the panel. The drum was compressed and wouldn’t rotate even by hand. My not new, but perfect working order washing machine suffered the same fate.I filed a very expensive claim with North American Van Lines on 9/17/23 and have not heard a thing. As it turned out, the loading crew aren’t even background-checked employees. The only two backgrounded employees they sent in to my home were the truck driver and head loader. The head loader gets to bring in his dirtbag buddies in for whatever he pays them. I know that because I’ve been demanding the names of the loaders ever since. Beltmann strung me along for weeks before I spoke with one of North American’s vice presidents, who finally admitted that only the driver and head loader are actual employees, and even they don’t know who the head loader personally hires and brings in. This is FRAUD, since I was assured that all employees handling my move were experienced professionals. They weren’t even officially employees!I am filing a police report for criminal damage to property. Since Beltmann chooses to have anonymous criminals load customer’s household goods, the only names I have to put in the report are Gary Rodden (the VP) and Keith Roberts (the head loader.)Hopefully the photos will load so everyone can see a small sample of the damage caused by this company.Beltmann won’t even respond to an email now. It’ll be harder to ignore the civil papers they’ll be served with if they don’t make good.Do your due diligence (I thought I had) and avoid this company like the plague it is.

Do not recommend Beltmann Lenexa to anyone. Several of my items that were placed in storage in their facility were damaged. I have moved 6 times and have never had so many items damaged. Fork lift went through box and shattered the TV screen (why would you use a fork lift for a TV??). Ethan Allen furniture badly damaged. Glass broken out of a curio cabinet. A leg broken off an antique table. Did not show up for debris pick up when scheduled. Not a professional company at all. If you value your belongings, don't let Beltmann Lenexa handle them.

Worst experience of any move in my life. I tried to post the entire story but it far exceeds the character allowance. Suffice to say when a 67 year old man has to help load his own HHG that is very bad experience. Getting pieces of someone else's furniture just means I wasn't the only one with a bad moving experience. Don't ever use North American/Allied.

Hires Thieves!!! Driver: Don Johnson, Phillip Jones, Jason Williams were all involved in stealing my families jewellery, money, and sense of safety. How do you sleep at night????????The company does nothing to help you.All of these companies are shells. They hire one person to work for them and then those people hire their own helpers. Pay them cash off the books with no records, then there is no one to hold accountable. It is disgusting! Do not hire this company.

The people at Beltmann were professional, helpful and kept us informed during the move process. We also had a GREAT driver (Kirk) that handled our move. He was incredibly professional and kept us informed of delivery dates. All our belongings were handled well.

I just recently use Beltmann relocation group to move me out of the state of Kansas for my company and the move was remarkable. From the beginning of the walkthrough of my items, packing and unpacking. Karen, Lisa and the movers all were very professional about the moving process. James and his crew did an awesome job packing and loading my items. What I loved the most is that the packing crew felt like I had known them for a long time. I even tried to help pack but was told to only pack my things from my dresser, then get out the way because it was their jobs to pack my items...lol ok then bye!! No seriously they all did an Awesome Job. Even the ones that unloaded and unpacked did an Awesome job as well. I recommend anyone to use Beltmann Relocation Group, if my company moves transfer me again I will use them.. You guys Rock!!

I read several negative reviews of this company and figured people were exaggerating their issues. Nope, the problems are real. Buckle up, you're in for a ride on this one.First the positive, the unloaders in Omaha were amazing (minus one guy who you'll read about soon). They worked hard and treated our stuff like it was their stuff, they were great!! Frankly they are the reasons why this review has two stars and not one or zero. Now for the problems. First, there was a mover at both the loading (Kansas City) and unloading who commented to my wife about 'how nice her feet look'. He also commented on our roommate's feet saying the same thing. You just don't say that to two females if you're a male. Frankly it came across as sexual harassment and he's lucky we didn't kick him out of our house twice.Second, the loading crew had an incredibly nice older gentleman who worked his butt off and did an amazing job. Problem is nobody else on the crew recognized his hard work. Instead, the rest of the crew decided to essentially bully him the entire time about how slow he was (he wasn't) and him always being in the way (again, he wasn't). Frankly, this employee, if he so chose, has action against the company for age discrimination based on the comments and the way he was treated. To say it was a hostile work environment is an understatement.Third, the packer who was responsible for actually packing the items (duh) was late. Okay, no big deal, people get delayed for all kinds of reasons out of their control and life moves on. The problem was she then combined being late with continually talking about how the moving crew was trying to get her fired and how she could do their job so much better. Before she got even close to halfway done she left. Since she left before she was done with her job the movers, who aren't really packers, packed random stuff together which ended up breaking quite a few things. Quick example, the movers put several Pyrex dishes in boxes without packing material with other items like metal pots and pans. Of course these dishes broke during the move.Fourth, (told you this was a ride) when the unloaders were done unloading everything in the truck they discovered there was no parts box. The unloaders explained to us the loaders are supposed to create a parts box in a bright red box containing all of the hardware they removed from items so they could be reassembled. These are things like legs for beds, screws, etc. for bed frames, TV stand screws, etc. Now we have two beds without bed frames, three TVs without TV stands, as well as a few other smaller items without components to set them up.Fifth, the loaders damaged a door so much it scraped off two or three layers of paint and primer down to the bare wood. Not great, but things happen. The problem is they didn't say anything. My wife noticed it and it wasn't until the movers were doing a final walk-through she brought it up and they kind of just shrugged it off. IN FACT, THEY WANTED HER TO INITIAL/ SIGN PAPER WORK SAYING EVERYTHING WAS OKAY WITH THE HOUSE SO SHE COULDN'T CLAIM IT LATER. We also had to ask for doors to be put back up the movers took down, should have been done without us asking.Sixth, the loading took 8 hours instead of 4, likely because the packer left early. Because it took so long and there were so many issues my wife didn't get to point out all the things they missed loading.Seventh, trash, everywhere. We bought them lunch because it was the right thing to do. Instead of asking for a trash can, or at the very least putting all the trash together, the loaders dropped the trash wherever they felt like for us to pickup. Not the most egregious thing but it was just the icing on top of the cake.Last, I've submitted at least $6,500 worth of claims for damages, missing parts, etc., to the moving company. The loaders destroyed multiple items and damaged countless others. If you've read this whole thing please, PLEASE, DO. NOT. USE.

the movers were nice enough... but they broke a lot of things, packed random things in random boxes. for example, mom's computer was dismantled by myself, and set neatly on her desk. after 2 days I found the computer in one box, the speakers in one box, keyboard and mouse in yet another... and the power supply brick for the computer was in a box for another room!when I have to move, I will just sell what I can, trash whatever doesn't fit in my truck.
