Straight forward problem: My alternator stopped putting out enough power to run my car & charge my battery. (Two different AAA technicians, one battery service professional and one tow truck professional, confirmed this after a breakdown, showing me the voltage measurements on their equipment.)I towed the car to this facility where they confirmed the low readings but insisted that it was a battery problem "because the diagnostic machine says it's a battery problem." When asked if the low voltage numbers on the running car would cause the car to drain the battery, they said, "I don't know, but the machine says it's a battery problem, so it's a battery problem."I took the car to a different Firestone location where they confirmed that it was a bad alternator AND that it was covered under Firestone's warranty (they had replaced it 2 years ago).This location should have tested and replaced it for the cost of labor. Instead, they completely omitted info about the warranty, charged me two different inspection fees (after only telling me about one) and sent me out to be stranded again by a malfunctioning alternator.I will never go to this location again. Further, I will warn people away from it.

I understand that you don't work on transmission but when I paid over $100 for diagnostic and you didn't even inflate my tires that had a low level light on and when i asked if my battery was on and you responded ya it is fine but after just a couple days you had to jump start it when i picked it up... not good service at all.

Firestone Service Centers are very professional and staffed by good people. We like their early opening hours and even open on Sunday.

dont go here if you dont know anything about cars they will try to charge you 400 to replace your $10 sparkplugs. I am not even joking lol.buy a deep socket wrench and etc, google how to do it.

If there was an option to give negative stars I absolutely would. I took my car to this firestone because of an issue I experienced on the right side of my vehicle. They advised me to fix both sides when there wasn't an issue on the left side. I told them to fix the right side. I picked up my car and was having the same issue as when I dropped it off. I let the manager Josh know. He told me they fixed the left side instead because that's what they decided to do (without consulting me. When really what happened is they fixed the left side in error). He was basically letting me know that regardless of what the customer requests and pays for, the mechanics here do what they want to your car at your expense. Josh was very unapologetic about it and offered no resolve. I called customer service and was supposed to receive a call from the Area Manager Douglas A. It's been 3 weeks of calling customer service and I have not received a call yet. I ended up taking my car to another Firestone where they let me know that the problem was NOT what I was previously told at this Firestone. The Shawnee Firestone fixed the problem on the RIGHT side. Now I have paid for 2 separate repairs! 1 of which, I did NOT need. Bottom line don't take your car here, because when they overcharge you or fix what they want, they'll take your money and send you out the door with your car still un-repaired. And, the corporate office will not support you or follow through with they're "2 Day Promise". I've been waiting 3 weeks for someone to call me back. My file number has been escalated to the highest level and still no response.

I don't usually leave reviews but my most recent experience with Firestone was a poor one. We have used this shop for years for tires and basics. They stated the do AC repair. After 4 visits and a new compressor I was told that what I really needed was an evaporator core and Firestone doesn't do that work. So now I have a brand new compressor and no air and have to take to a shop that does full work on ACs.The frustration is being told definitively that the compressor would fix the AC and that turned out to not be a true statement. Communication was disappointing and no offer to assist in resolution of my original AC not working.Services: Tires

Bad customer service. The person who served me told me that I didn't need to fix an issue with my car and when I called other auto stores about the issue they told me it was something I needed to fix. Won't come back.

I was on the phone with Josh, I was trying to get a quote on a EGR filter then out of no where he just starts stating that he doesn't work on diesel anymore and go to the dealership. If you have a any kind of diesel vehicle do not get service done here.

Firestone Great as always and I have travel tomorrow to TX, in the area not way to leave car - Tech Lynzie said we will work you in so both Techs and shop staff got me in and out less than 1 hour this is why we use Firestone

I was SO pleased with my experience here!! I had an unexpected flat tire and they were the only place fairly close to my home that would work me in on the same day to fix it!! AND they were so kind about it!! Everyone I dealt with there was very nice. I had a couple other issues they took care of for me also as well as another that they actually explained how I could take care of partially on my own and save a LOT of money. How many auto places does THAT?!?!? They were awesome. I'll be doing business with them again! I highly recommend them!!

Like every place with a mechanic, they're great at what they do, they would be better if you would stop pushing parts that I did not need. I would be a more frequent customer if they didn't miraculously find 1000s of dollars in problems every time I come just to get an oil change, but right now this is about the equivalent of going to the dentist.Services: Brakes

They got me taken care of quickly, with fantastic and friendly service, at a very reasonable price. Absolutely no complaints, I'll go here from now on!
