This company provided us with an estimate 2 months ago and did not plan for our move. When we tried to confirm our moving dates we were told there was no plan to move us. Further conversations only price gouged us and could not assist with the needed timeline. Apparently our non-military contract is not important I don’t recommend using this company as they are rude and unreliable.

I have called several times over several days last week and today but have only gotten their voicemail and have not gotten a callback from them. Not sure if this is normal for them? But they are one of the recommended moving companies for a project my company is part of in Kansas.

My experience with Fry Wagner was extremely positive. Everyone wanted to make sure the move went smoothly. The movers genuinely wanted to help. They were efficient, kind, careful. I would use Fry Wagner for my next move!!

I recently moved and used Fry-Wagner. I had a great experience from start to finish. The team that moved me was extremely hardworking, efficient, and had a great attitude. They made moving as painless as possible.

Moved from KC to two new homes. Divided property and Company gave us move dates and sold us “replacement insurance”. We packed ourself and carefully marked with box with state, room to go in and either a bright Orange or bright green tape to designate where it was to go. Neither move happened as promised. Took one load back to warehouse, unloaded it and when it arrive they had lost 4 dish packs of kitchen items. Company would not look till final claims had been processed (which took over a year). When I called to follow up on claims, the standard answer is “we will get back to you in a day or so”. I had one claims person hang up twice on me stating I was harassing them by calling. We had 4 larger items deemed “non-repairable”. We we had to prove original purchase price (receipts) and then they gave us a depreciated value-not replacement cost. Total move was a nightmare and Fry-Wagner was non responsive, rude to work with and misrepresented they promise of “replacement cost” and took over a year to make a final settlement- which was thousands less than damages that were occurred.

I have to start with the bad. Our belongings were loaded at origin onto a shuttle truck, then unwrapped and moved from the shuttle truck into the warehouse, and then rewrapped and loaded onto the United Van Lines moving van for transport and unloading by Fry-Wagner.Between loading at origin, United Van Line’s unloading, reloading and long-haul of our property, and Fry-Wagner’s (the local United agent at destination) unloading, there was an incredible amount of damage. We reported 15 separate items on our Claims Form, some of which were completely destroyed. The real clincher was when one of the men from Fry-Wagner who was unloading accused us of having damaged a dining room chair ourselves. We watched another one try to drag an upside-down chest of drawers up the stairs by himself by grabbing the bottom support board which snapped in two. The drawer supports and stops were also all busted as a consequence. The good news is that United Van Lines employs Weathersby Guild to repair damaged furniture. Weathersby’s representative, Bill Olson, spent four days at our home doing a wonderful job of repairing the damage that United’s agents did. United did pay our full claim for Items that were unrepairable.Does this excuse all of the unnecessary damage that could have been avoided by more consideration for and better handling of our goods? Of course not. If this amount of damage is status quo for United, they should be ashamed of themselves. I would in no way recommend Peluso Movers in Naples, Florida, or Fry-Wagner in the Kansas City metro area, or United Van Lines as a whole.
