Just picking up some girl scout cookies here but they had storage space and trucks so I assume they are good at their normal job.

Moved from KC to two new homes. Divided property and Company gave us move dates and sold us “replacement insurance”. We packed ourself and carefully marked with box with state, room to go in and either a bright Orange or bright green tape to designate where it was to go. Neither move happened as promised. Took one load back to warehouse, unloaded it and when it arrive they had lost 4 dish packs of kitchen items. Company would not look till final claims had been processed (which took over a year). When I called to follow up on claims, the standard answer is “we will get back to you in a day or so”. I had one claims person hang up twice on me stating I was harassing them by calling. We had 4 larger items deemed “non-repairable”. We we had to prove original purchase price (receipts) and then they gave us a depreciated value-not replacement cost. Total move was a nightmare and Fry-Wagner was non responsive, rude to work with and misrepresented they promise of “replacement cost” and took over a year to make a final settlement- which was thousands less than damages that were occurred.

I have to start with the bad. Our belongings were loaded at origin onto a shuttle truck, then unwrapped and moved from the shuttle truck into the warehouse, and then rewrapped and loaded onto the United Van Lines moving van for transport and unloading by Fry-Wagner.Between loading at origin, United Van Line’s unloading, reloading and long-haul of our property, and Fry-Wagner’s (the local United agent at destination) unloading, there was an incredible amount of damage. We reported 15 separate items on our Claims Form, some of which were completely destroyed. The real clincher was when one of the men from Fry-Wagner who was unloading accused us of having damaged a dining room chair ourselves. We watched another one try to drag an upside-down chest of drawers up the stairs by himself by grabbing the bottom support board which snapped in two. The drawer supports and stops were also all busted as a consequence. The good news is that United Van Lines employs Weathersby Guild to repair damaged furniture. Weathersby’s representative, Bill Olson, spent four days at our home doing a wonderful job of repairing the damage that United’s agents did. United did pay our full claim for Items that were unrepairable.Does this excuse all of the unnecessary damage that could have been avoided by more consideration for and better handling of our goods? Of course not. If this amount of damage is status quo for United, they should be ashamed of themselves. I would in no way recommend Peluso Movers in Naples, Florida, or Fry-Wagner in the Kansas City metro area, or United Van Lines as a whole.

From the time I called in to get a estimate to when the doors closed on the moving truck leaving my new home, my experience was most excellent! Not a thing was damaged in our move. Fast packing and loading yet treated every item gently. Our moving crew ROCKED it!

We were very pleased with all aspects of our move with Fry-Wagner.We were moved in on the date planned. We have unpacked all of the boxes and have negligible damage. We don't plan to move again, but if we did, Fry-Wagner would be our first call.Larry and Deanna Schmidt

Fry-Wagner provided excellent communications before, during, and after the move. The pre-move visual inventory of our house took about an hour. Packing was scheduled for two days but they finished earlier so we loaded one day early and got to our destination ahead of schedule. Unloading was moved to a Sunday (from later in the week on Wednesday) so we got our stuff all the earlier than expected. The packing and loading crews were very courteous and hard working. The driver coordinated the crews and kept us informed about changes or issues as things happened. Couldn't have asked for a better moving experience. Would highly recommend their excellent service!

My representatives were quickly responsive to all my questions. The move went as promised and on the correct dates. The delivery went as well as the pick up. It was a move fromFlorida to Colorado.

This business had very good reviews, so I planned to move my sister in with me, through them. I called and they said they would do a survey at my sister's home. They gave me two different stories, one in which they went to my sister's house and one in which they went to the house down the street. Either way, no one knocked on my sister's door and we know because she was sitting in the living room waiting for that knock all day. The surveyor didn't call when no one answered, which confused one of the other people I spoke to. I could not contact the person I needed to for FIVE DAYS, instead constantly being told I would be called back. When I finally got in contact, everything was made out to be my fault (heavens knows how). They told us they couldn't do the move by the date we requested anymore because they needed a week to plan for the move, but we had been trying to get this done for more than a week already. My sister's flight was already booked, we had everything planned to make this move happen on the day we were told it would probably be able to happen. We ended up searching for a different moving company. I am very upset with my experience with these movers and I would not recommend them to ANYONE. Communication is key and if they made a mistake, they should have just told me so in the first place and we could have worked something out. The behavior of these employees was ridiculous.Edit to add: When they realized we had fewer things to move than they originally thought, they completely changed their tune. They were more willing to work with us, but we had had enough of their antics. Beware of this moving company if you have many things to move (such as your entire home).

My name is *** ******* We had Fry-Wagner move us from ******** to **********, ** on June 4-5. The driver of the van that loaded our stuff hit a telephone pole about 2 miles from our house, completely mashing in the right side of the truck and damaging many pieces of our furniture; over 28, and also we are actually missing items such as part of my husband's weight set and his power supplies for his movie theater seats, among other things. They offered us a very, very small compensation for the damage (going with their standard .60 on the pound, when, in actualality, there was a van accident, with their driver being negligible, not a mover scratching your curio cabinet). We have six pieces to our bedroom set; five of them are damaged. There is a lamp that is completely shattered. A speaker not only has the black covering on the front all ripped, but also mashed in the speaker front behind the covering. Scratches and gouges on my mother's 65 year old piano, as well as the piano bench. I have written to and left a voice mail for, the President of the company with absolutely no response, not even, 'we are sorry about your damage'. His name is ***** ***, the company is Fry-Wagner, and the ********* office is in ******, **/ ****************. Please, if you value your property and expect a company to compensate you fairly when significant damage occurs and treat you like a valued customer, do *** use Fry-Wagner for future moving needs. Quite a disgrace from a company that won a Fleet Excellence award for their driving skills a couple years ago and a **************** award this year, I believe. Very disappointed in this company. This is our third move with Fry Wagner, and again, we had a wonderful experience. Moving is by no means fun, but Fry Wagner helped us coordinate our last minute move, making it actually manageable. We hope we do not need movers again for a long time, but if we do, Fry Wagner will be our first call.

They came and wrapped our furniture and boxes and loaded it for storage. The next day they came back and wrapped the rest of our stuff and took it to our temporary place of residence while our house is being built.
