horrible customer service, granite developed a stain after install and never responded to my calls, text or email

We were told when we make our deposit that they would come out and measure with a laser to get correct measurements. They spent less than 10 minutes with a tape, writing very little down. When they came to install the countertop, no one on the crew spoke English to be able to communicate with me. The sink was not in the correct spot, because of this the side cabinet drawers would not go back in, they had to be cut and major modification made to get them to go back in. The installers damaged our sheetrock in multiple places. The edge of one countertop was not cut straight; and the seam has a very rough edge on the surface. No care was taken by these people, just haphazard workmanship. When we contacted Brenda, the salesperson who sold us the countertops, she stated she would talk to her boss about compensating us for the damage, six days later still no response. We contacted Granite Centers this morning and spoke with the "owner" who refused to give his name. The "owner" was a complete ass stating he wouldn't do sh*t for us because we were outside their 60-mile radius. We're 72 miles away and, had Brenda stated anything about the distance, we would have gladly paid something extra. Don't use this company unless you want your property damaged and like dealing with pompous jerks. If I could give a 0 star rating I would.

We had Granite Center install a new master bath counter top this week and couldn’t be more satisfied. The installer advised of the expected time of arrival and called to update that time by 15 minutes. The entire process from removal of the old to the installation of the new was just over 3 hours. The product looks great and is a considerable improvement over the old. I would recommend Granite Center for anyone looking for a good product at a reasonable price and professional installation.

After quoting us for counter-tops, decided to abandon us weeks before fabrication and install. Acted like an overgrown child and refused to work with our builder. No explanation. Just said "no" and hung up on us.

Granite and Cabinet Center were incredibly responsive when we were shopping for kitchen counter-tops; however, that is where the customer service ended. The counters were not sealed properly and all exposed surfaces were stained. I contacted the company multiple times over the past couple years to solve the issue, but they blamed me for staining my 2 year old counters. They never came out to look at them or offered assistance in fixing the issue. I would not recommend conducting business with this company due to terrible customer service. The uploaded photos show the stained granite. My stand mixer is stored in the corner where the granite is lighter in color. You can see all exposed granite has been stained a darker color due to poor sealing.UPDATE: 03/27/2016Still have not been contacted after calling the showroom.UPDATE 5/16/2018I contacted the company as suggested, but never got a call back.

Ohh man its so hard to deal with this people . They will screw you big time . I had to call the owner for issue regarding granite and was on phone with the owner . Response was brenda my rep is responsible me as a owner is not responsible for this . First i started laughing then i understood this guys dont know english much so they pay brenda a sales rep person and she deals with everything . Horrible service . I wont recommend this at all .

I hired them to put in the kitchen countertops as a part of an apartment remodel. They did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them.

Brenda and her team are a delight to deal with. Her installers bent over backwards to ensure a perfect install. Even with us being a rush job nothing was to much for them. And the price was awesome. Thanks again Julie

Our experience with Granite Center was not without hiccup, but overall we are very pleased with the product. Let's start with the good: Install - 5 stars. The team was great. Team of 3 worked together, completed the job efficiently and paid attention to detail. I pray I never need to get new counters, but if I do, I want the same team to install them. Jeff ... I'm not really sure what his exact roll at GCI is, but if it's the role of fixing things he's A+. Without him, we would have bailed. The less than good: Our sales guy. I believe he was fairly new at the job, so I'm not going to call him out by name. He wasn't rude or anything like that, but I think he needs to learn about the product/process more to become an asset to GCI. He then got confused on the sink and told us our current over-mount sink would work, fortunately Jeff let us know that it would not, so we ordered one from GCI. While that's a bit of a story in itself, the install got done right and it looks good. Bottom line: We love the counters and they look great in our home. Go in, if you don't like your salesman - find a way to let Jeff know and I believe he will make sure you get taken care of the right way.

I would highly recommend this company. They installed a quartz countertop in our bathroom. They were reasonably priced and did a nice, professional installation. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Terrible quality... Stay away! We bought $14,000 worth of cabinets and granite from these guys 4 months ago and I regret it. The quality of the material is POOR and the installation quality is so bad I had to rework some of it. RUN, DONT WALK AWAY FROM THESE JOKERS.

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The manager Jerry lied about ordering my sink and then attempted to talk me into a different sink. When I stated that I would prefer to get the sink I ordered he told me that I was making everyone else's job more difficult. When I told him he was being rude he cursed at me and said I had an attitude. It was at this time that I informed him he had lost my business. I would rather have plywood countertops than give one dime to a company that treats their customers this poorly.
