My experience with Kings Moving and Storage has been horrible. I do not understand how a "business" can run without responding to its customers and addressing their issues. Kings damaged my floor in September 2019 and still has not resolved my issue almost a year later. I have submitted a claim, spoken with Todd multiple times, and have called for an update; however, he is always out of the office and never responds to emails, calls, or voicemails. Horrible customer service experience.

Was able to schedule a quick moving date. Arrived each day at scheduled time. They loaded and unloaded us in two days in a move from Wichita to Kansas City. Workers were friendly and courteous. Appreciated the wrapping, and care of couches and breakable items. Wish they could have hooked the washer, dryer, and Sleeper Number Bed back up for us. Actual cost of the move was $1,000 less than the estimate given on the walk-through initial home visit. All in all, yes, I would use this company again.

Bare with me guys but this I'm so disappointed with North American Van Lines. I can't believe they are in business today. Don't use them. They are horrible. We contracted with them and they loaded on the date specified. My phone with a credit card went missing and was located in the cab of the semi. They were supposed to deliver the furniture on the 17th of June. Their contract gave them a ten day spread. When the 26th rolls by and after several calls to them with promises they would get back to me and I would have to initiate the call, I was told it would be July 2. Then when that didn't happen I was told July 6 and now after contacting them I'm told no earlier than the 15th. I don't believe it'll happen on that date either as they can't guarantee it. The belongings are of two people in their 80's. When discussing compensation for this horrendous delay I was told to buy an air mattress for them and they would compensate 50% of it. Really??? You've got to be kidding me. Their contract is full of outlandish charges if you don't full fill their terms but nothing is stated if they don't fulfill theirs. My parents will have been without their belongings for a month IF they deliver as stated now. Unfortunately I don't trust them nor believe them. Most likely legal action will need to be taken just to get their stuff This is not right and no company shout e allowed to prey on their customers like this

Frankly don't use them. I was told a delivery window when they estimated our shipment. That date got pushed out 2 days when I called and emailed (due to their lack of communication), but was told verbally that they had until that date and not to worry. I called and emailed SEVERAL TIMES to get a response. Then, 3 days before the last date, I get a call from the driver who says he informed Kings that the shipment wouldn't be there until 6 days after the window AT THE EARLIEST. When I emailed them back, they sent me to the claims form for North American Van lines. So to recap: they said one date, pushed it, then the driver pushed it further beyond the window I was promised, and when I asked about compensation for my troubles they sent me to corporate. Poor communication, poor service, and who knows what condition our stuff is in (because it's not arrived yet). Buyer be ware. =========================================== UPDATE: Just to update everyone, North American van lines can do nothing. My shipment will be late, they want me to pay them before I get my shipment, and for all the TROUBLES, CONSTANT PHONE CALLS, HASSLE AND NO GUARANTEE I WILL ACTUALLY GET MY SHIPMENT, they have "generously" offered me $100 in restaurant.com gift cards. I'll say it again, DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.

My stuff was picked up On June 12, it is now July 9, and it has not arrived and no one can tell me where it is. In 60 years of moving I've never had such a bad move.

They recieved the item on Monday but could only deliver on Thursday. Confirmed delivery from 2pm to 5pm on Thursday. At 6pm the company I ordered from called and was able to get a hold of someone (amazing it didn't go straight to voicemail) and they were advised our item was on the truck and running about 20 minutes behind... It is now 8:15pm on Thursday and nothing has been delivered. I called earlier and someone was supposed to call me back and that never happened. No one is there past 5pm.

Used this company for a military move. The estimate weight of my items was 10000 lbs. The movers brought a small truck and three people to move my items. They left several items in my old house that I had to clean up, when I asked the movers to help unpack a box I was told that they would be unpacked but that they'd leave the items in the middle of the floor for me to pick up, and several of my furniture items were broken. When I left voicemails with the company, it took a month to receive a return call. When I was called by Todd, he told me that the person I left the voicemails with, Lottie, had no idea about any damaged items. I was then told by Todd 3 weeks later that he would have someone come and look at the items. This happened in January. I have not heard anything from this company at all about resolving this issue since. I would NEVER recommend this company. I moved less than a block away and I have had more damage to my property than when I moved from another country. Very unprofessional service. It has been nearly a year and this issue is still not resolved. I can not stress enough DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Poor communication and absolutely nonexistent customer service. HORRIBLE!

Like John. W I made the decision to have King's handle our move because of the family feel for our Wichita to Kansas City move. I have moved across the country four different times. This was by far the worst moving experience I have had in every way. Significant damage to a wide variety items of which several of them irreplaceable. We are now 7 months past the move date and still waiting on our claim. Zero communication about our claim from anyone with King's. To this day I am not even sure what was submitted by their adjusters. No one will return phone calls. This is not the company to use for your move!
