6 guys performed our move with excellent results. We had a lot of furniture and assorted belongings that filled two trucks to the brim. All were moved safe and sound.

They were contracted to pack and ship for our overseas move. Only 2 people showed up, and I was concerned as it was a lot for 2 people to handle. I think there was some hesitation and they had to make some phone calls since it was more house than they expected, but they took care of everything. I think it was a lady, who's been there for years and a younger gentleman who packed everything. The people who came after them the next day and packed were efficient but after they had left, I noticed they missed a few things. They actually drove back using their personal vehicle, close to an hour, and picked up the items they missed. When we got to our destination overseas, only 1 or 2 things were probably damaged and this is probably how it was packed in the wooden crate. Like a wooden chair and a gash in a table. Yet, we were re-reimbursed by a different company and I'm not 100% sure they even handled the crating process. We were also missing our parts box. But I heard that happens with overseas moves, so we'll know for next time, to carry that on us. But, nothing high dollar value such as electronics or jewelry or purses was missing, damaged or lost. And that's all I really care about for a 7,000 mile move...

I would give 0 stars if possibles. The three ladies that packed our house, especially Holly and Caitlin were amazing, after that everything went severely downhill. The loading team was supposed to arrive between 9-10 and ended up showing up around 1. There were soooo many loaders that communication and paperwork became horrendous. Our household goods became split between two trucks. We received half our household goods weeks later (on the last contacted date possible per the military). The rests of our household goods remain in a warehouse in Kansas City weeks later. They keep referring to it as "overflow" but those half our goods including a lot of our furniture, including our child's dresser and bed. The disorganization and illiteracy on the moving inventory was so horrendously awful that it was almost impossible to decipher what we had received and not received. As members of the military community, this is undoubtedly the worst move we've ever had. The most unorganized move ever. I would never, ever recommend this company and our critiques will be forwarded to the Air Force TMO. As of this date, we still don't have an estimated date for the other half of our goods.

You better hope they don't break any of your items. I had a move a month ago where the mover broke my TV before leaving the first residence. The mover advised he would let the owner know when he got back and they would call me to file a claim. No one ever called, when I called she immediately jumped to telling me it would not be covered if it was mechanical failure. I advised that was not the case, the movers shattered my TV. She then sent me the claim form. I have now sent over 15 emails to the owners and office staff, and called at least 10 times. It is a month later and every time they say they will call or contact me back they don't. I would never use this company again, and am still waiting for my 400 dollar reimbursement for a shattered TV

I was a little worried about using a moving company but once the guys got going they were great and did an excellent job moving our furniture up 3 flights of stairs and the third floor was very difficult to navigate due to space but they did a hell of a job and not even scratching my walls or putting any dings in it. They were easy to work with and were very friendly too!

The gentlemen that came to my mother's house were friendly and courteous. They moved several pieces of furniture with care. Wrapped all furniture with padding. Both were careful in moving the items through the house and through the door, on to the truck. My sister and I were very impressed with both gentleman and their professionalism. They were required to move furniture and items from my mother's house, to my apartment for deliver and also to move several pieces from my apartment, to be delivered to my son's house, along with several pieces of furniture that my son was receiving from my mother's house. My son was also impressed with both gentleman. I would highly recommend N.L Wilson.

This is hands down the best local moving company. I have never worked with a better establishment. The lady's in the office were so helpful and answered every question I had and they walked me through the whole process! The crew was very timely and they communicated with me all day! They made sure that everything was put in the places I needed them and they put everything together for us. Jordan our driver was amazing he was straight up with us all day and made sure everything went smoothly, he made sure that we stayed in our time frame and he made sure that everything came off the truck the same way it went on. I recommend this moving company to anyone looking for a move big or small!! Great job!

Jordan and his team moved me on Monday and I can’t say enough. They worked hard and efficient and had my 2 pods packed in about 5 hrs. They were very nice guys and careful with my stuff. I’ve moved many times

A friend bought a large mirror from Brownbutton. N.L. Wilson was supposed to pick it up for $120. N.L. Wilson said they were on their way. The friend called the company several times and got the runaround. He called the owner and the owner wanted to charge him more than $120 and then the final price he wanted to charge was $720. This moving company was a major screwup. Going to let brownbutton know to caution anyone who uses this company to move any large items to ask for an email quoting the price of moving and the pick up time.

One of the best moving experiences I've had. And I have moved a lot during and after a military career. The guys who moved my stuff wrapped everything well, were very efficient, and didn't hit any walls. They even fixed a broken leg on my tv stand that they didn't break!

This company moved my grandparents into a newly built house. When they moved they put holes in the walls and they scratched the walls and scraped the wood flooring and hand railing. They didn't say anything about it, also they started to put the table together for my grandparents and they didn't even put the bolts or screws in it. When they unloaded they weren't listening on where to go to place the boxes and furniture, they just took it in and set it where ever they liked. They put the light boxes on the bottom of the truck when they loaded it and they smashed countless glass items they have been handed down in the family that are priceless. We got all the paperwork to report what was broken and damaged and the owner isn't doing anything about it to pay for all of the damage.

Gave me a quote for packing then when I got the bill it was twice as much. Said they would reimburse me then never did. Also said they packed everything and there were still cabinets full of items. I would not recommend. Quote and final bill below.

I don't understand all the bad reviews. I've used NL Wilson Moving twice now and they do a great job. Adam came and did a walkthrough of the apartment noting everything down. They then gave me a guaranteed quote which is great because I know exactly what I'm paying even if they go over in time. Everything was moved without damage and in a very timely manner. Would definitely recommend them and will most likely use them again if I move!
