“I like this nursery. Even on a rainy day walking around inside is something I love doing. Suburban has a really great variety of plants, trees and shrubs and the greenhouse is decorated really cute. They have a lot of great garden decor.”
“Outstanding Experience at Family Tree Nursery Shawnee
I stopped into Family Tree Nursery in Shawnee while traveling for business, and I am very glad I did. When I walked in, Haley greeted me and made me feel welcome right away. As I looked around, I found some great T-shirts that I wanted to buy for a few friends, but I had trouble finding the sizes I needed. I went back to Haley for help, and she immediately brought Jesse to assist. The two of them were incredibly friendly, attentive, and eager to help me find exactly what I was looking for.
The store is beautiful and perfectly decorated for Christmas. Everything from the plants to the home decor to the merchandise is clean, organized, and very easy to shop. You can tell the team takes pride in the store.
One thing that truly impressed me was that not a single employee was on a cell phone. Every person working there was focused on customers and aware of what was happening around them. That level of customer service and professionalism is rare today.
Every employee I passed greeted me or offered assistance, which made my visit even better. If you have not been to this location, it is absolutely worth a visit even if you are not a plant lover. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and very enjoyable.

“Best selection of trees and shrubs around. A huge variety of conifers (which are my favs). Free brochures for several types of plants that are a wealth of knowledge. Free flash cards for basic house plants with instruction how to care for them (also free). Friendly and courteous staff. This is an amazing company that I highly recommend.”
“A hair pricier then other options, but in spring/summer they have a huge variety and it's nice to be able to see the plants you are buying instead of having something shipped. Knowledgeable, helpful staff and my plants always turn out healthy!”

“Preston is my designer. He was great throughout my project. After this phase was done and It wasn't quite as I wanted it. Preston came back and made some adjustments. Now I have him listed in y contacts and when I want to add something or even blow leaves he's easy to reach. I love my backyard zen space”
“This is the best place for all your grain and feed needs. They have everything from dog toys and harnesses to chicken food to bird feeders and bird seed. Everyone is so friendly and inclusive of all people. I highly recommend this store which has been family owned and operated for its sixth generation and almost one hundred years.”

“Stellar customer service!! Last night I bought a gorgeous Christmas tree from here and after many attempts to get her (Susie Sunshine) straight, I realized she was a little crooked on the cut. When I called to see if I could bring her back to get recut, they offered to send help instead. Thankfully I only live 7 minutes away, so Joe was able to come by and get her straightened out. I can't express how much that little deed made my whole day/holiday!!! thank you Joe and Shea for making this happen. I will for sure be a returning customer!”

Flooring Specialist, Mary Hill, and her team did an incredible job of finding me the best price point, along with the highest quality product with a quick turnaround as well. The title "Specialist" does not do Mary Hill justice. It should be flooring "Master". She was able to knock down over $3,000 from my original quote by working her magic. And Mary Hill offered insightful choices when it came to aesthetic, style, trends, price, installation, and quality. You will not be disappointed if you choose Home Depot and Mary Hill for your flooring needs. Store manager Julia was also helpful in processing the final transaction. Excellent service all around.
