The mutton was a terrible quality. Even after cooking 1st 12 mins then again an additional 10 minutes in a pressure cooker the meat was tough as leather There was hardly any meat. Seems like the had sold the good meat and sold us the bones and cartilage at the full price. I have bought meat from them in the past and it’s been great

!!Read this before your buy meat from here! Ridiculous experience
Got 3lb goat meat today 1/15/25. After cooking we came to know it’s Lamb and I called them and had a very long discussion about it, at last they agreed up on giving me goat meat and I drove 10 miles to get it. Handed off the lamb meat and he was saying goat and lamb will be mixed. I was shocked, if it is mixed then they should have told me prior to my purchase but didn’t. So this time they exchanged saying that this is goat meat and after coming home and cooked it and it’s AGAIN lamb. This is just unacceptable, that they treat my time and money like this. If they don’t have goat they should just say it, I didn’t waste my time again to call and go back.
No complaint on meat, only that they should give what we asked. Please make sure you double check what you asked.

Very poor customer service at the butcher counter.
The butcher got my order wrong (gave the wrong lbs), I explained to him what my order was and asked him to fix it. He was not happy, and corrected the weight with just fat and bones. The one in overland Park is much better.
