High quality truck every time! This is our third time using Penske. I usually get a newer truck, but this time got like a brand new one! (about 16,000 miles) The price is usually as good or close to U-Haul, but higher quality truck. The decks of the cargo bays have been higher than the U-Hauls I've rented. So, depending on your priorities, there might be a tradeoff there.

Worse. Customer. Experience. Long time commercial account, had me move to another lane and wait behind the people, for the people to fix it. After the guy said it was working and everything was good, it was my turn to pull up. Without getting any info from me he said he couldn’t do it, it wasn’t working. Also said there was a light out in the bay so they couldn’t wash my truck. Every time I try to use Penske to fill up I run into issues even after driving 30 mins out of the way to get to this location. Now adding an extra 1 hour to my trip to go to another location.

FELONY......20+ years of being in business and this one of the worst experiences we have had. The first phone call was fine and he was polite. Once the reservation was made it was a **** show. They were rude when we picked up the truck and rude there after. I told them I did not want the damage waiver and insurance as I had my own. After calling a few times we got 3 weeks of receipts that we never received as they charged $1000 + 32 cents a mile per week for a 16ft box truck with shelves. They added $52.50 a week for environmental fee and license recovery fee. They also tacked on $385 a week for insurance and damage waiver. This is an additional $437.50 + the taxes on it. After calling everyone and their brother. A worthless manager called back and said we did not have your certificate of insurance. I stated that I was not asked for it or I would have given them a copy. He said he could not refund the three weeks approximately $1200. He said I can give you $200 a week discount moving forward. I said no as I only had a little over a week to go. I disputed the charges with the credit card company. Anyone else who would steal over $1200 would end up arrested with a felony. What a pain.

Take photos of everything, especially gas, I was overcharged. Concrete dust on the ramp that's 1/2 inch thick from the previous renter left foot track marks in my new home. After paying over $200 for the rental, fuel and inconvenience, I'll never use Penske again.

I reserved a truck and the poor people in the office were having a rough day they were awesome and we’re finally able to get me rolling but it was definitely a comical experience thank you Katie you are awesome

Disappointing experience. Reserved a truck with a lift gate on 6/1. Thinking that an email with a confirmed reservation number would guarantee the truck, I soon learned I was wrong. On 6/9 I called to ask a question and they said the truck wasn’t available for the date I needed at all. Something about commercial accounts being a priority. Is there no regard for a customer’s schedule or time? I don’t expect to be a “priority,” but how about tell me that the next time and I’ll determine if booking with Penske is worth the risk. Or, maybe call me and give me even a couple DAYS instead of HOURS to prepare. I won’t make this mistake again.

Penske as a whole company does not know their own HOS truck logging system. Not just one location. When you ask about it they have a blank stare. No service person or mgr at local level even knows the app or has it on their phones. Good luck finding a truck to rent with a maintained HOS logging system. It's spotty at best. But the people are nice.

They said my truck was ready a Week ago. When get there truck won't start. Waiting for day and a half for repairs, truck not fixed. Get back home with the plane.

My truck (2020 freightliner went down with a Def pump) penske got me a rental the same day and I ended up needing it for 3 more days than expected and they were fine with that. Good truck as a rental too

This place has the most incompetent mechanic's I have ever seen.They are supposed to maintain our fleet, we dropped a Freightliner truck off for a leaking coolant hose that took 2+ weeks to finish and when they said it was ready and I could pick it up I immediately saw a completely bald drive tire that the mechanic should have seen and replaced but did not, their excuse was "It wasn't on the work order" You Penske are in charge of maintaining our fleet so stop being lazy and take some INITIATIVE. They were supposed to fix a broken electric mirror that did not tilt, they replaced the broken plastic cover but didn't bother to see if the mirror moved, IT DID NOT.
