An amazing bank institution to work with, this bank has funded two major commercial projects for my company that allowed me to bring several opportunities back to a community that has been under severed for several years and create job opportunities, healthy eating programs and more that was much needed. Bank is engaged in wire fraud. They'll let anyone open an account without verifying their identity.

I do not understand all the bad reviews or folks saying it has taking long periods to get an answer on there application.I applied yesterday at June 1, 2023 11:36 pm and received a text with my approval at June 2, 2023 7:00 am. The app is a bit basic and I cannot answer for how the customer service is yet but so far so good. I am about to upload a mobile deposit so I'll will be back shortly with a review on that process and I am planning a test call to customer service soon so I can review there service ** I think these reviews were posted by unhappy customers who may have blew the situation out of preportion. As a small business owner, I have encountered numerous challenges along the way. However, I never imagined that my choice of a banking partner would lead to such a disastrous outcome. Unfortunately, my experience with Small Business Bank has been nothing short of awful, with their unreliable banking services resulting in the termination of my merchant account.The issues began when Small Business Bank unexpectedly returned my deposited funds without any prior notice or explanation. As a business owner, this sudden reduction in my account balance was deeply concerning and disruptive to my daily operations.To add insult to injury, Small Business Bank proceeded to freeze my account, leaving me unable to access my funds or conduct essential transactions. This action, coupled with the unexplained return of my deposited funds, led my merchant account provider to flag my account for suspicious activity. Consequently, my merchant account was terminated, causing even more harm to my business.In a desperate attempt to resolve these issues, I contacted Small Business Bank's customer support. They requested a series of documents, including a selfie, tax return documents, and other relevant information. Although I promptly provided the requested information, I have yet to receive a response from the bank. Their unresponsiveness has only added to my frustration and further delayed my ability to remedy the situation.While I understand the importance of security and compliance for financial institutions, Small Business Bank's lack of communication and transparency in handling my case has been nothing short of disappointing. Their actions have not only inconvenienced me, but they have also resulted in significant harm to my business.In conclusion, I cannot recommend Small Business Bank as a reliable partner for small businesses. Their poor communication, unresponsiveness, and questionable account management practices have led to the termination of my merchant account, leaving me in a precarious position. Entrepreneurs and small business owners would be wise to explore alternative banking options that provide the support and stability necessary for success.

Very scary. They have customers that are scammers. One of their customers Faked an invoice to us (using an email that was from our company but had an extra letter in the email address) for $95,000 to ACH into their account at Small Business Bank. Would not trust this institution!!!

Great bank! I really don't understand the negative comments-and the reason I am leaving a review. Whenever I call them (and I prefer calls to email and texts), their representatives have been extremely helpful and courteous. I RECOMMEND SBB to anyone.

Do not bank with this Bank. They have 0 customer service, a terrible app and banking interface and 0 integrity. The bank routes calls in through a third party call center. The people at this call center are clueless and very rude,I got hung up on twice when they could not answer basic account questions. I wonder how this bank still has a license with the trashy service they render.

If you are seeking the most inept customer service possible, this is the bank for you. Their lack of service, communication and competency will only make it more difficult to run your business. Avoid Small Business Bank of Kansas!

Previously was Gardner State Bank and service, everything, was excellent. Since moving to Smallbusiness bank, fees increased and service decreased. I have phoned hitting every option available on their recording. All options lead to a message advising to leave a message AND THEN TELLING ME THE MESSAGE QUE IS FULL.My advice, do not use the bank!

HORRIBLE. First they make it so that I cannot pay bills out of the account, like my rent! Then they tell me if I buy a phone they will pay for it. NOT TRUE, sent the receipt and they said too late, too bad for you. Never said their was a time limit on when I could afford a new phone. Then once I get this new phone, there is no way to download the app to the phone and no app store will carry it. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE MESS OF LIES AND NOT A BANK FOR ANY BUSINESS.

Used to be good. Now it's not.I used to be able to talk to people working in the bank. They were nice and easy to talk to. Now i get call center people, who, while polite, don't offer the same good feeling I had before. Things that should be easy to deal with, are difficult. For instance, you travel outside of the country, you can't access your account since they verify via SMS.Their security has reverted and has become worse than it was before; the password I put on my account disappeared and now they verify with last-four and birthdate, things that everyone has access to.Sure, their website, and mobile app were always on the very poor side, but the personal service made up for it. Now, they've got no edge. I suggest you look elsewhere for another solution.

Mobile app is great only downside is long check hold time over 6 days before it clears, but ACH is fast.

Decent rates and fees but absolutely horrible customer service. I was with them for a couple years but have not been able to access my money for several months now after their failed migration to a new website and new mobile app. I have called customer service numerous times but no one answers the phone. I cannot even re-register to get to my account.
