Purchased a tuff stuff bb chevy long chrome iron water pump and 3 weeks later i found out i needed a short one. It was still in the box. I tried to exchange it and they said the manufacturer discontinued it. I called tuff stuff and they said they quit making iron pumps before covid. Star preformance told me i was out of luck they couldnt help.

Awesome, helpful and knowledgeable staff. I just wish their website was better because it would make it easier to verify they have something in stock before driving to the store. To be fair...they usually have the typical things in stock.

Horrible customer service when I was over charged on a part. Catalog showed it was $111 and some cents, girlfriend went there and put me on the phone so I can confirm what I wanted. Comes to turn out she wasn’t paying attention and they charged me $150 and some. Now I have built my whole motor with this company, spent thousands of dollars never complained or tried to get price of things lower. All I asked is that I would be credited the difference from $111 to $150. They said no cause of price increases and than said they can give me a $15 credit. After a few back and forth they didn’t want to give me the difference even though I told them I’ll be buying a radiator, mini starter, fan assembly etc. easily a few more thousand with them. The manager didn’t care and didn’t want to work out anything. Never had a issue with these guys. Really liked the prices and products but am disappointed and felt taken advantage of.

I was shown a price of how much I would be charged. The price I was actually charged was much more and they refused to refund me the difference. I have worked retail and we always charged what the customer saw not. ESPECIALLY when the customer wasn’t informed of a price increase!Very rude staff and owner who wouldn’t let me finish a sentence before cutting me off. I support local but not when the customer service is this horrible! I wish this would have been resolved at very least. Don’t trust the catalogs they give you or you might be caught in the same predicament I am in. Or just shop somewhere that has integrity!

WOW !!! Amazing :))) I thought all of the GEARHEAD shops were gone . The guy that helped me was top notch !! When explaining what I was looking for he didn't have that blank stare like most chain shop employees do . This place reminded me of Maple Hill parts shop ( that's a compliment) if I have the need for custom fabrication again I'll definitely be heading there again :))))) THANKS FOR YOUR HELP !!!!!
