Amazing Rescue! When my 96 year old Mom's Dog passed away, I suggested maybe adopting a Cat to keep her company if/when she was ready. Once she gave me the green light, I contacted Melody with Pet Connection and told her what I was looking for...an older, low key and very affectionate Cat, to also give a loving home. I flew back to K.C. for a meet/greet, and when Mom met Melody's pick, Layla, it was love at first sight for both of them! Layla was 12 and an awesome cat! They were inseparable best buddies until my Mom passed at 101. I will forever be grateful to Melody and Pet Connection for selecting the perfect match for my Mom, and bringing her such joy during her final years ❤️.

The Pet Connection has been an incredible resource for pet owners and fellow rescues. By offering training sessions that help you and your pet be the best companions possible, a sanctuary for those pets that need more in depth help, and advocating for force free, positive reinforcement training methods TPC is always focused on what’s best for our fur friends. My dog participated in their peer model program for several years. It was such a rewarding volunteer experience for both of us!

I’ve sent Two Dogs to stay with The Pet Connection and they did a wonderful job, start to finish. Not only were my dogs getting much needed training. They were also getting the love and affection that they deserved. I have a recommend anyone using any or all of The Pet Connection‘s resources.

LOVE The Pet Connection!! I’ve used them multiple times for “behavioral” boarding. They took amazing care of my dog each time! They always sent updates to let me know how she’s doing and sent cute pics of her living her best life while I’m away.

Pet connection was a lifesaver for my dog and my family when we found ourselves with a reactive adopted baby. They were incredibly responsive and took all appropriate measures to keep everyone safe while we worked through identifying triggers and using positive reinforcement to pull out the behaviors that we wanted to see and to help him navigate the other behaviors that were rooted in fear. It was amazing to work with them and all of their qualified stuff to watch my sweet boy get his confidence back and be able to live life like a normal dog, not shut away for his safety and the safety of other dogs.
Pet connection is the only company I recommend to anyone I know who needs help with dog behavior

I have known/worked with The Pet Connection for 18 or 19 years now. Every single interaction I've had with has been positive and kind. They are the first people I call when I have a question about animal behavior. They helped me keep my dog when I was in a tough spot. Their training and behavioral knowledge are absolutely unparalleled. I've also fostered and adopted from them. They provided support for her at adoption and ongoing for the rest of her life. We're very, very lucky to have TPC in Kansas City and Beloit. I would (and do) encourage everyone to use their services.

The Pet Connection is one of the most knowledgeable and compassionate rescues out there. I’ve seen them work hard to take in animals from some of the worst situations and work to successfully rehab dogs that others would have given up on. They are constantly improving their knowledge of how to address concerns with the animals.
