“I found them by accident looking for Oreillys for some heater hose and clamps. Their competitor( not Oreillys) didn’t have 15’ of hose. Kost had everything I needed at great prices. They even told me I could fix it in their parking lot. Staff is great! Even though I had never been there before and I’m not even from there, I was treated like a “regular” customer. I’ll definitely stop there again!”
“I wish we had came here when we had our W 900 instead of going to Cummins who never did anything to fix the DEF issue on our truck. Thanks to the awesome technicians as well as Santana who stayed in contact with us gave us a step-by-step of what was going on with our truck and why it was happening. All the years of having to pay for a DEF issue because we kept getting those alerts on our truck this company this dealership went further and realized it wasn’t anything to do with our DEF but our DPF. I wish we had had them three years ago.. before Cummins released us and we wind up doing a blow by because they told us everything was fixed on our truck this is something we kept going through. Not only Did they diagnose our truck correctly they also did test that have never been done when we were with Cummins the W 900 Cummins engine is that different than the packer Cummins makes pack car I don’t understand why they couldn’t have done what Liberal Kenworth did, They’re not only road tested it they tested it with a weighted trailer this was something coming separate dead we dropped thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars into our past semis, Because of misdiagnosis by Cummins and even by other dealerships because they were calling comments not because of their issue but because of what Cummins would tell them. I want to thank the DEALERSHIP for getting us back on the road and treating us with the absolute and upmost respect. If you have a problem with your truck bring it here, My husband had to be there for a couple of days they even warned him what hotels not to go to. I could only press five stars but I would give them 1000 stars for the service that they gave us kudos to liberal Kenworth”
“I want to take a moment to recognize James at O’Reilly Auto Parts Store #1453 in Liberal, Kansas, because the customer service I received from him was truly exceptional.
I stopped at this store while traveling and was having serious issues with my vehicle. I was experiencing hesitation, loss of power, surging, and other problems, and I was still about an hour away from my destination. I was honestly worried about whether I was going to be able to make it there safely.
James took the time to thoroughly check my ignition coils and confirmed that they were good. He then checked my spark plugs and discovered that they were completely burned up. Rather than simply selling me parts, he took the time to help me figure out what was actually wrong. He changed all of my spark plugs, and thankfully, it completely resolved the problem.
What impressed me most wasn’t just his knowledge or the work he did—it was the fact that he genuinely cared about making sure I was okay. About an hour after I left the store, James actually called me to make sure I had made it safely to my destination. That meant so much to me.
After replacing the spark plugs, my check-engine light stayed off, and my vehicle was running properly again. I was able to make it to where I was going without any further problems.
In today’s world, customer service like this is rare. James didn’t treat me like just another customer or someone buying parts. He took the time to listen, troubleshoot the problem, help me get back on the road, and then followed up afterward to make sure I was safe.
James is an outstanding representative of O’Reilly Auto Parts. His knowledge, patience, kindness, and genuine concern for a customer’s well-being are exactly what exceptional customer service should look like.

“Coming back from California on our way to Illinois we hit something and busted our oil pan in Liberal. We got really lucky taking our car to Hodges, Juan fixed our issue quickly and we were able to leave the next day. Fatima also was very helpful and kind, offering us a ride to our hotel and Juan picking us up the next morning from the hotel in our car. He explained what he fixed and what still needed to be done when we got home. Very fairly priced, accommodating and friendly! Highly recommend this family owned shop!
