“I broke down with my 2000 Corvette. Had the mechanic, Anthony, check my codes. Turns out it was a CKP Sensor. Never heard of that part in all of the years that I have been around vettes. It measures revolutions of your crankshaft and sends that info to your computer. There is a magnetometer in the end aimed at your crankshaft. This part had malfunctioned. I said ' do you think you can fix the car'? He said, 'first I have to find it'. He found it above and behind the starter. Then we had to locate the part in town. Population of Liberal, KS is 20,000. The chevy dealership did not have the part - could order it for 1 week delivery. Next was Auto Zone, no part. Last was O'Reilly's, with 1 part on the shelf. My prayer had been answered! Total job was about 3+ hours - bill was a little less than $300.00 with the $60.00 part. A job well done by Anthony. 1500 miles later the car is still running great. Thank you Anthony.
