We found a baby possum climbing out of her mother that had been hit by a car. I was able to drive out to Operation Wildlife. The tech handled her with care and got her cleaned up. Showed me the baby possum pouch. Front Desk ladies were personable. High regards to all! Thank you!

I found a little bat in front of my neighbors door and didn't want anyone to kill it. So I put it in a box and called around. Operation wildlife is one of the many places I had called and was willing to help me. So I made the 45 minute drive to them to drop the little guy off. I sure hope he's doing okay and he made a full recovery!! This place takes many, many different kinds of animals. All they ask is for is a donation, which is very understanding. Thank you for all you guys do!!

We went there for our dear friends after they found this motherless wild cottontail. Even though it was just a brief contact, the volunteers at this non-profit are so warm kind and caring. They have provided a lot of medical care and rehab for KS/MO wildlife in need at no cost.

Tucked away in the rolling fields outside of Eudora, KS, Operation WildLife (OWL) is doing the good work of taking care of injured wild animals, all for donations. They don't operate for profit or receive government support, which is why they humbly ask their patrons to give what they can.

Absolutely amazing organization! They helped an injured owl we brought them and were very kind to us. They've even called and given us updates on it! A great organization that runs on donations. Definitely worth supporting!

I saw that OWL was having a fundraising event where they would walk you through and show you the animals. I love birds and was so excited to attend. This place is amazing as they help injured birds and keep them safe. I had never seen such big Falcons and Eagles! To be able to get that close to them was incredible! I cant wait to go back mid January!

We were not sure what kind of bird of prey we had injured on our property but called and they responded on a Saturday evening with no hesitation. Wound up Logan was able to get the Red tail hawk with no problem since it was so tired. Thanks for coming out so quickly.Much respect for an organization that cares

Found a bird that had a broken elbow, followed the instruction on the website for care since it was after hours, left a message. Got a call the next morning with the okay to bring it in. They do ask for donations to help care/rehabilitate the animal since they don't get other types of assistance but it's not required to get help. I'm emotionally invested in the morning dove I brought them and I'm so glad I was able to bring it to them.

These folks care about wildlife. I found an injured turtle. They told me how to bandage her and met me on a holiday weekend to take her into their hospital. Hoping she will recover.

My daughter & I volunteered here for a while. I have to tell you that OWL is truly an amazing, insanely dedicated, deserving non-profit. They will go to extraordinary lengths to save any wild creature from a teeny little newborn mouse to a bald eagle that has lead poisoning. They're extremely organized & volunteering there was truly an honor. I can't say enough good things about OWL. The person who started OWL & all of the employees & volunteers are the greatest people!
