“Heartland Equine Hospital is a wonderful facility with great staff! So caring, knowledgeable and actually take their time to show you everything to make home care easy for you and your horse. They have seen 2 of our horses. Dr Eric and his wonderful wife Dr Kelly truly an amazing team. Dr. Eric takes his time answers all questions. If your horse doesn’t need something then he will tell you straight it would be a waste of money. If there are options he will go over all of them. Dr Kelly I cannot say just how thankful for her we are. After hours we had an emergency and she talked us through helping our Cider and put our fears to rest. Thank you H. E. H. for all you do.”
“They took my two cats in the same day I called ...new patients even! They were so great with my cats and I received a lot of information about diabetes in cats that I didn't know. It's going to make things much easier for my cat and for me! Everyone was awesome..... it's so obvious they truly care about your pets!I will never go anywhere else! I HIGHLY recommend Pleasant Valley!”
“I've been bringing my miniature Dachshund here since he was born. Great staff they are very thorough and tell you what you need to know about your dog. I went to emergency vet one time and they diagnosed him wrong took him to wolf creek just found out he was bloated and constipated they gave me meds fixed him right up. I highly recommend them!”
“It’s a busy day here and each horse is getting high quality, focused care. The team’s commitment to the horse is evident in every aspect of care. Further, communication with owners is straight forward, thoughtful and well explained. We traveled 2.5 hours to see Dr Strain; that’s how good he is!”
“All of the staff here has been just wonderful. My pup has been going here all three years of her life, and she is a very happy girl! She always seems to enjoy her visits, and her health is doing great! The staff really cares, and it shows! Can’t recommend enough. ?”
“They were very helpful when I had to make a big decision in putting my 17 year old cat down after discovering that he had cancer on liver... very sad day on September 25th...”
“Very happy with the clinic, resolved an issue we had with our dog in two visits, we previously had spent hundreds of dollars at a clinic near us and they could not do what was done here. We wish we had found Smiths clinic earlier, highly recommended, if you are tired of paying over priced veterinarion bills and want results Smith's is the clinic to start using.”

“This is the best veterinarian in the area. We drive 30 minutes out of our way to have all 5 of our dogs seen there. They are compassionate animal lovers and have always been able to squeeze an emergency visit in. Pricing is more than fair, and they don't push products on us.”

“OWL does such great work for our community. They are the go-to resource for helping Kansas wildlife. My husband and I found a turtle that had just been hit by a car. I reached out via message after hours requesting advice and permission to bring the turtle in the following morning. Someone got back with me on how to support the turtle overnight, and they also let me know I could bring the turtle in once they opened the next day. I took him in right away the next morning. Unfortunately, his injuries were too severe, and it was determined he couldn't be saved. The ladies who were in the office were incredibly compassionate. As an animal lover, I was so sad that he could not be saved. But I am very grateful that he was treated with dignity, and he didn't have to suffer any longer. If you ever have a wildlife situation that you need assistance on, please reach out to Operation Wildlife for advice. They are a great organization, and they rely on volunteers and donations. Our community is lucky to have this animal rehabber in our area.”
