Maple St Vet Clinic was recommended to me by another patient's person. I have a cat which needed spayed. I had gotten quotes in my Wichita area, and was about to decide I'd rather deal with kittens when I called Dr Dillon. Her price for spraying and a round of shots was nearly $200 less than anyone nearby. Hey, I can drive to McPherson for far less than $200. When I took my cat back for stitch removal, we discovered that we also had a very close K-State connection.

My best four-legged friend Benny was feeling poorly for weeks. I kept hoping he would snap out of it. I finally brought him to Dr. Chris . Many vets might have said he just ate something that didn’t agree with him. Dr. Chris went the extra mile and did bloodwork. Now we know that he has been infected with the anaplasmosis virus from a tick bite. He is on the road to recovery thanks to the diligence and great care he received. Thank you, Chris, for your diligence. It’s not just about Benny but it’s also about how I feel about my friend and the care he has been given. You have touched two lives, not just one. Tonight I sleep soundly knowing Benny is in good hands.

They are simply the best! I wish the same level of compassion and expertise and genuine kindness from all the staff could be found in medical care for humans.

I cannot say enough good about Little River Veterinary Hospital. They have cared for our cat Lily for more than 8 years. So much compassion and love right to the end. Though I am grieving deeply, I am also filled with gratitude. For Lily and the way she touched us, and for all who loved Lily and who loved us through Lily’s transition to her next adventure. Thank you. Blessed be. Sarah and the whole team are wonderful.

This is a different type of vet clinic than others in the area. They seem to be like country folk. Quick and to the point. If you're looking for a vet to talk over every little concern you have and make you feel good, then this probably isn't the place for you. You'll bring your pet it, they'll do their best to care for it, and they'll give it back to you, all in 20 words or less. They'll also charge you half the cost of others in the area. We will continue to drive our animals the 35 minutes to McPherson for this good, but budget friendly care.

Took my puppy there for a supposed sprained ankle. took him back later that day for being lethargic and not acting normal they said vitals/temp came back normal and I have nothing to worry about. next morning, went to work for four hours, came home to a puppy sounding like if he was a human was having an asthma attack. Rushed him to vet hospital in hutch, Great staff btw. Within 5 min doc said internal bleeding and was bleeding out from the inside. He has internal bleeding in his thoracic cavity and he Couldn't breathe because blood was covering his entire chest... Doctor said a blood transfusion might have worked if he was brought by in a couple days earlier, which he was just to the wrong vet obviously, and now I have a dead puppy 18 week old puppy .

We started taking our two dogs to LRV approximately two years ago and have had nothing but the best care from the Doctors and Staff there.
