“I have never been in this store until today! I have a daughter that is specials needs. She talks to anyone who listen and will say random things. As we were shopping an employee by the name Holly asked us if we needed help. My daughter then tries to explain what art project she was doing and what she was trying to find. Holly helped her pick the things that she wanted and continued to carry on a conversation ( random fact from my daughter) like they have known each other for years! We usually get tuned down or ignored because of language barriers! She Was calm and patient with my daughter! I will be going back more often! After I got to my car I went back in and wanted to thank her for being so kind and helpful and ask how is it that she is able to relate to my daughter. I found out that she has a family member with autism so it just comes naturally to her!”

“I went into the Dollar general in Louisburg, Kansas today. I was grabbing a couple things plus my son had grabbed a pair of paw patrol sunglasses. I went to the checkout and there was a cashier named John. He was very professional and friendly. And when I was about to leave he asked me to wait a minute. I was a little confused but I waited. He then proceeded to reach over and grab some scissors and told my small 4-year-old son to hand him the sunglasses and he proceeded to cut the small zip tie off of the glasses for him, completely unprompted. This was such a kind and generous thing to do. He took time out of his day to go out of his way to help in a way that was above and beyond the call of duty. I want to give him a shout out and bring this to the attention of whoever is the management team. This is such amazing customer service. I really appreciate the effort he put in. He was very kind and very thoughtful. He deserves recognition for this! Thank you, John!”

“It is one of the biggest dollar stores I have ever seen, it has an awesome selection and way more than most dollar stores have. Lots of self checkouts too so you are not waiting on someone my only complaint and it’s not even their fault is that the company has not called them back to get their bread order in yet lol cannot wait for this”

“Look here, it’s a dollar general you get what you get, but as far as I know they don’t put gummy candy next to the gummy sensory toys for children to consume. Anyway 1/10 go check it out. Never been inside, outside looks pretty jank but that is ok.”
