“I wanted to give a 5 star rating but looking at photos several things Dinsmoor made were altered that were part of his message to the world. In the corner of the yard near and above his grave a figure of Lady Justice used to hold her scales with a guy sawing on them as a woman, a baby and a black men looked on as if to say they were not fairly represented early in our 20th Century. I do not see them as controversial only as historical. It's still a wonderful place I always tell folks to check out!”
“We try to get over to the Grassroots Art Center whenever we make the trip back to Kansas. It's always a valuable experience, for the unique art, the local history, and the charming little gift shop. Well worth a significant drive out of your way!”
