Had various duplicate card charges, the bank said we need to call the google app that we don’t even use…… no such thing as helping with unauthorized transactions. The girl in the front tried to help but we never received the initial fraud report that was submitted weeks ago only to be told, call tik tok. Untrustworthy and irresponsible for a bank.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Unreasonable, obstructive, unethical.* Asked us to have our mother (dying of terminal brain cancer) to stop by and sign paperwork as she was being transferred from a hospital to a skilled care facility because they refused to accept a legally valid and binding Power of Attorney (see below)* Charged $5/month 'dormant account' fee on a savings account for a customer with over $250k in other accounts* Would not accept a Power of Attorney written by a lawyer in the same town. It cost us over $100 to have the lawyer contact Commerce to get the PoA accepted (not a problem at any other bank in town)* Would not accept savings bonds to be redeemed without a 'special' Power of Attorney (another local bank had no issue)* Claimed not to know of IRA accounts, until we presented their own statements indicating their existence* Local branches won't process IRA closures (due to mother passing) and say corporate department must do it. Corporate says that local branch has to do it.* Speaking of IRAs, allowed my mother to draw down my late father's IRA for almost 8 years after his passing.

Can't recommend this bank at all.They will screw you over again and again with: 1) hundreds of dollars' worth of repeated overdraft fees (they'll layer them on top of each other in a single day if you don't pay attention),2) mediocre customer service (it's ridiculously difficult to get ahold of a human being to talk to on the phone),3) bad online banking functionality (barely any options available to customize),4) and lack of reach outside of Kansas or Missouri (so if you travel a lot you'll be in trouble).Avoid, avoid, avoid.

The branch on 2740 Claflin went above and beyond. They were the only bank in Manhattan to help me in a time of need. Living here sense 1978, I am happy one bank stood up and helped a family in need. They are fast and friendly ... Thank you

There Curtesy Overdrafts is terrible!!its not what they tell you. you can only use it tops 3 times if more then the three you are in trouble they don't send notification that there cutting it off.so that mean your bills is in trouble.myself have money direct deposit in to My account it's not like I'm putting money in to the account you get your money before I get my money.

It's unfortunate that Kansas State does business with this bank. They'll charge you to cash their own check if you don't have an account with them. Only bank I have run into in Manhattan that does this. Local banking that is just nickel and diming for no reason. I would encourage everyone to head down to KS StateBank instead.
