“After cracking my phone screen, I took it into Computer Hospital in Aggieville just as a drop-in, (but after investigating online what it would cost me to order a new screen and attempt to repair it myself). After seeing what was involved, and discovering that their pricing (for parts *and* labor) was about the same as what it would have cost me just to order the part online, I was happy to let them do it. And even though in my case it took them a bit longer than they had predicted to me (still same day though), because as I later found out, there was a clip that had got damaged in the repair and they had trouble getting it done completely correctly. So they charged me even less than the original quote, and gave my functional phone back to me with the promise that they would get the broken part ordered and call me in a few days to finish the job. (And meanwhile I was just happy to have my phone back with a nice new glass, and functional enough that I didn't have to go without.) And they were true to their word - and even on the second visit did not add any additional charge to the original (reduced) price since the broken clip happened during their repair. Now my phone is as good as new again, and I'm thinking they likely took a loss in finishing that up for me! In any case, it's my experience that these people will do their best to do right by you. They sure did for me anyway.”
