The Flint Hills Discovery Center is a 35,000 square foot museum located in downtown Manhattan, Kansas, dedicated to showcasing the culture and science of the Flint Hills. While it does have some interactive activities for kids, this discovery center has more history exhibits (about the flint hills) than others we've been to. The other discovery centers were more play based vs museum like, but the info is cool for older kids & adults.

This place was so awesome, we used the Sunflower summer app to get in for free. My 5yo loves dinosaurs and was thrilled with the Dino exhibit. My 2 year old loved all of the hands on play areas and my 5yo loved the train set! We were visiting from Kansas City and spent 3 hours there before driving back home.
