Usually aren’t terrible but tired of stupid staff. Asked for 1 $100 bill and the rest 20’s. NOTHING will explain why I got $220 in 20’s, $100 in $10 bills , 2 $5 bills, and 5 ones. What’s with all the unnecessary bills?

This is possibly the slowest bank that I’ve ever head to deal with. Drive up transactions that should take 5 minutes once a teller is available frequently take 10-15+. Frequent deposit errors have also become standard occurrences.

Tried opening an online cd and gave entirely too much information. Upon trying to contact them I discovered this is not even a valid number. I read mixed reviews online but would like to encourage anyone else to not make the same mistake. They require a hard credit pull even though it's a deposit. Then you have to give all your banking info to make the deposit. In spite of all that my transfer never went through and I regret having given them my banking info, social security among other things. Shame on KS State Bank! I will be reporting it.

Absolute trash customer service. Their incompetence as a banking institution is mind boggling.

I had very bad experience with their mortgage loan person. Be careful when you deal with them. NOT a RECOMMENDED BANK to save your money or go for loans.

Even though I used their ATM and paid the $2.50 fee, they refused to make change (since I did not have an account there). Facilities were nice but staff was morose at best. Recommend you go to Sunflower bank instead as their staff was much more friendly and helpful.

KS State Bank was absolutely amazing and super personable as well. I went in today with my Aunt to try and get a couple of things notarized and moved around for her since she can't get around too well and do too much on her own, and Leanne helped us so much. They had great service as we were waiting only a couple of minutes to be helped and we were able to get everything that we needed to done in under an hour. The people there were extremely personable and even recognized my aunt even though she hadn't been there for months. Outstanding service. KS State Bank is the only bank I want to do business with anymore.

Rough bank for business accounts- no technology: online banking is straight from Y2K- there is no way to reset your password without calling in. The associates never follow-up on requests and make everything seem like the customer's fault.

Completed a VA-home refinance with Doug Bowdish at KS State Bank. Highly recommended. Doug was thorough, patient and knowledgeable. Answered queries promptly with excellent follow-through. Would do business with Doug again.

I don’t think I’ve ever written a bad review before but feel people should know what they might experience before partnering with K-State bank. Yesterday I called to let the bank know I couldn’t find my card. I told them I planned on coming to town Saturday to get a new card, and Inconviently they do not print new cards on Saturday. I still have a picture of my card so I can put in the card number manually when I make a purchase, so I asked them to hold off canceling and ordering a new card until Saturday when I can get cash out. They said that was fine, but since I told them I lost it, they said I could not make any disputes if someone else was charging my card, which I completely understood. Today I got a call back saying that they turned off my card without my permission, even though I claimed responsibility for further charges. I have no other form of payments (I use my credit card for work expenses), and was given no warning. They have also canceled my card in the past when they thought There was fraud on my card when there was not, and never got a call to confirm, again leaving me with no other form of payment. One time they sent me a new card, but didn’t document that they had sent me one, so I had to wait not 10, but 20 days because they had sent a second card and the first card was invalid. Lastly, something else that is super frustrating is how they ask you to update all information on their mobile app, which is constantly having bugs, is not user friendly, and when I do send them a message to update information or get a new PIN number, I receive no response. Do not tell people you have to do things through the mobile app if you do not have enough customer service to follow up with their request. These are just a few reasons why I plan on switching banks, I have asked several people about their local banks and in comparison everything about kstate bank is inconvenient.
