absolutely love sally’s and all their employees. everytime i’ve gone in they’ve been so friendly and ready to help find exactly what i’m looking for. they’re very educated on the products and have always been able to answer all my questions. i cant tell you how many times i would have had to dye my hair with bare hands if they hadn’t asked if i needed gloves or brushes! wonderful store and wonderful ladies.

I went in today to get some stuff to dye my hair and I'm very unhappy with my experience there today. Right when we entered the store a lady that worked there kept bothering us to the point where I couldn't even think about what I wanted to get. She told us if we get 50$ worth of items we can get 20$ off but when it came down to it we couldn't get it because of our credit(she didn't say anything about applying) the lady added things to our bill and tried to make us pay for it. We got 40$ worth of items but for some reason it came to 90$ and when I brought it up she began to take off the items that she added on herself. She literally tried to rob us of 50$. They have good products but their employees are ridiculous. I probably won't go back there.

So very irritating, to buy your items and then have them ask if you want a paper sack for .15 per paper bag. They want to recycle, save waste? Great. But if you want people to come and buy everything in the store you certainly should not expect them to bring sacks from home or pay to have something to put your items in. Quite ridiculous. I am sure the majority of customers feel the very same way. Ridiculous and d*** simultaneously.

I have been into this store twice. Both times I was greeted by who im assuming is the manager (Shawn or shawna I believe was her name). And both times she made me feel uncomfortable to the point of leaving without getting what I had come for. She refused to take no for an answer regarding a sally credit card, she followed me and watched from literal feet away as I browsed, and commented on every item i looked at. I think I made it pretty clear I did not want to engage in conversation with her but she would not leave me alone. I will not return to this store for that reason, despite there not being another Sally close to me.

Every time I go in, I feel uncomfortable saying no so many times to the Sally's credit card. I understand they have to ask but it's made up my mind to shop Amazon.

Good lord - I am aware that greeting your customers is a loss-prevention tactic - but I was literally stopped in my tracks on the way in today by a worker who wouldn't take no for an answer when all I wanted to do was grab the product I was looking for and be checked out. She insisted on helping me find something I knew the location of, and kept pushing.I really didn't want help. I really didn't need help. But your staff is pushy, and even when I grabbed my stuff and didn't want to hang out in the cramped aisle during a global pandemic to chat, she still didn't take the hint at the register and insisted to know why I wanted the product I was buying. I politely said, "I don't know. Next time I'm just going to buy online to avoid all of this."No wonder people buy products online. Ease up on your customers, please. I don't want to be your friend, and you've probably lost me as a customer as well. The store is small enough, the last thing I want is a long discussion of why I'm buying what I'm buying in front of two other families.

Fantastic... My wonderful sales lady dropped what she was doing offering a cheery Hello and offer to assist me and oh yes did I need it. She tolerated my irratic shopping, helped me get everything off my list perfectly and even suggested Hemp bronzing moisturizer when I couldn't find a sunbed ... This stuff is great! Will always return to Sally's and especially when great customer service is found ... Appreciatd it.... Xxx

Staff is very kind and knowledgeable. They are patient and willing to explain what products would be good for different types of products and why.

The products I picked had the wrong price on the shelf. The prices were higher on the register than on the shelf.

I am the most amateurish amateur in terms of all things hair and make-up. I have no clue what I am doing, and my hair is always long, straight, and brown. Except, now it has grey (I learned recently to refer to the grey hairs as sparkles). In my cluelessness, I was referred to come here by lots of wise people, and started initially with the medium golden brown in the Age Beautiful brand. It was blah, so I came back for help. The staff here is so patient and knowledgeable. A staff member recommended Clairol true color cream, and helped me pick out Cocoa Bean as my color. I love this color and it really works for me, giving my hair dimension and even compliments from people who noticed. I am always shocked people can tell I dyed my hair and also think it looks good. Who knows what I am doing?!When the store reopened in May after the pandemic was going long-term, I came in and bought out all Cocoa Bean boxes because it is often sold out online and only sold through Sally Beauty. When I come in here with my mask, I feel like the staff are being nice saying colors would look good "on me" when they cannot see most of my face, but perhaps they have powers to see through masks.I was just in here getting a little bit more bold with colors, and the staff spent a lot of time talking through what the numbers and letters mean on these boxes. I was really aiming for a violet-based color and bought a Clairol flare me dark Keep Calm and Berry On, but I also grabbed Copper Shadows (red). Eric R. said he was not ready for me to have purple-ish hair, so I went with red. Of course, it made my hair darker than the hair swatch in the store, but probably because I do not know what I am doing. Nevertheless, it looks seemingly natural so I am impressed with whatever these wonderful women keep telling me because everything seems to work out.
