When 1 of 2 stores in Kansas can't stay open the hours that are posted on your website and listed on your door because you don't have enough help, you should close. I came to Manhattan from Emporia specifically to bring toner cartridges to recycle and make some purchases and when there's nothing on the website that says you're closed, it becomes a waste of gas and time. If you can't afford to pay your employees a decent wage, just close!

Staples has gone downhill over the past few years but the new general manager has done everything he can to keep things afloat. The store is usually pretty well stocked and the selection is decent. I would like to see more in the computer accessories department though (docking stations, adapters, etc). The staff is usually pretty friendly and easy to work with.

Hardly any associates in the store. No help available for advice. Took over ten minutes to check out with only one other customer in the store. No longer my “go to place.”

Always super easy to do my UPS and Happy Returns. Have never had any issues with customer service etc. HOWEVER, the best part of coming here is being greeted and checked out by Cooper. The store is well stocked, and handy to be able to get a wide range of office products.

Had amazing customer service from Logan and Cody. Logan helped me figure out the best printer for my printing needs. And Cody helped me with my printer purchase, ink cartridge credit, and the additional warranty I wanted. The service was quick and the store was clean. Very pleased with my purchase and the assistance I received. Highly recommend Staples.

I visited this location with my sister-in-law to print a photo for a funeral, not realizing they mainly specialize in documents, not photos. While waiting in line at the print center, we were met by an extremely rude employee who snapped, "Picking up or what do you want?" This interaction was incredibly off-putting, and we left feeling like we were a burden. Thankfully, we found another place where the staff treated us with the compassion we needed. Please remember, you never know what someone might be going through when they walk into your store.

Absolutely the worst store I have been in for many years. It smelled like mold or mildew when I walked in. I walked the entire store and no one greeted or asked me if I needed assistance. I finally asked someone where an item was and he told me where to look, but it was not there. After I found it on my own, I went to pay and found it was a sale item in a special basket up front. Another purchase was a pencil case that I had to clean off the dust before I purchased it. Then, I had to wait for the checker to get off her chair and cell phone to take my money. This store needs LOTS of work and new employees. Absolutely pathetic!!! I will NOT purchase from the Manhattan, KS store again.

If you want to be disappointed, then this is the store for you! Called earlier in the day, spoke with Eric. Asked about spiral binding. He did not know a lot, so he did have to place me on hold a few times to get the answer. Luckily, he did find the answers. Then I went to the store to have the social binding done, and all of those answers he found, were wrong! So I was not able to get my spiral binding done. Female staff member came to help, she was rude and didn’t seem to know much more than he did. He stated that his store does the sizes he told me on the phone…. His store in Kansas City, not Manhattan. So I did not get my spiral binding done. Staff members were rude. I would not support this business. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Do not try to get anything printed or done with them. they do not want your business and are not helpful at all theyre too busy doing other stuff to help anyone out. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
