“I am a professional photographer with J Renee Photography and I absolutely love photographing weddings at The Historic Elgin Hotel. From my perspective one of the hardest things is when there's not much around or in a venue to give my clients truly beautiful image's throughout their day and everywhere inside and out at The Elgin is a photographer's dream! From the gorgeous ballroom, the elegant staircase with huge chandeliers, the cozy outdoor courtyard, and even a red velvet chase lounge they have so many nooks & cranies to do portraits. The bed & breakfast is perfect for intimate weddings or larger one's with an outdoor space for ceremonies that's private and wonderful lighting during the day. Brides & Grooms can enjoy their honeymoon after the wedding without having to leave for another location immediately. The rooms are charming, clean, and super cozy. It's a romantic place for a weekend getaway too. The owners are an absolute dream to work with and so very sweet. This is a wonderful gem in Kansas and if you haven't checked it out you really should!! If I could give them 10 stars I would. Looking forward to photographing my 3 weddings there this year!!”

“Has everything you could ask for at its price. Clean rooms, hot water, strong wifi and comfortable beds. Walls are a little thin, but it's only noticeable if your neighbor is blasting the TV. Nice owners too.”
