About Dalton's Bedpost Motel
Dalton's Bedpost Motel is an amazing, cute little small-town motel known for being very affordable and a great value. The rooms are tidy, clean, cozy, and comfortable, with some appearing newly remodeled. They offer everything needed for a pleasant stay, including a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and ceiling fans. The owners are described as very nice, friendly, attentive, and great. While not a fancy chain hotel, it provides a comfortable and decently priced place to rest. Some notes for guests include that rooms may feel small to some, windows may let in some highway noise or flies, walls aren't too thick, and not all rooms have a night table on both sides of the bed. The TV may not work in some rooms, and local non-chain dining options can be limited on Sundays. However, the atmosphere is very quiet, the place smells clean and pleasant, and noise typically quiets down in the evening. Many guests state they would stay again and again, highly recommending it for a great night's sleep at a fair price.
Driving west down 54 there aren't a lot of options. This place was a welcome sight. It's a throwback, which to me is a good thing. Great value, clean room, and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stay here twice a year traveling between Arizona and Wisconsin. We are planning a trip back to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving this year and will again stay here going and coming. Jay has always been very welcoming. No frills but definitely worth the stay.

The owner was so very nice and the beds very comfortable. Room was clean and had everything we needed in it.
