The only thing I despise about living in Meriden. They handle the mail extremely poorly. Stuff packages in my mailbox that shouldn't be, and then when its something that can go in the mailbox, they don't deliver it. My specific mail carrier is rude and not dependable at all. I would gi e zero starts if possible.

This is the worst post office in the World. Our letter carrier is the worst. Just horrible. Open packages, crammed mailboxes, wrong mail being delivered and an oddly late delivery schedule. Some nights it’s 7pm before we get our mail. Filed numerous complaints. Nothing is getting better. I hope the guy who runs this office is removed.

called to see if a package I need for a military related event that I'm leaving town for today had arrived, because it should have been here yesterday. The person did not even seem willing to check. It says delivery for tomorrow and now I have to find someone to come get it and show up empty handed and the person didn't sound sympathetic at all.

The absolute worst Post office I have personally ever had to deal with. Their business hours do not accommodate the community in which they serve. Most member of this community commute to surrounding towns for employment and cannot make it to the post office by 4pm to pick up packages. When calling to see if they can place the package in one of the lockers they seem annoyed and unwilling to help. Customer service needs a serious overhaul!

We moved to Meriden two months ago. We have had nothing but problems with mail delivery since then. Today's problem was my delivery being put on hold, because "my front door or driveway was inaccessible." This was entirely false. I watched the mail person drive up to my house, rummage in my mailbox, then drive away. No delivery attempt was made.

Absolutely terrible service. I went in to find out what happened to a package that was reported delivered but never made it. When the post master confronted the carrier she lied and said she handed it to my children. She then went on to make personal attacks about my physical appearance. Absolutely unnecessary I will be filling a report with the OIG.

11/24/2020. Big sign on entrance door stating "Face Masks Are Required Inside". However, the lady behind the counter is NOT WEARING A FACE MASK!!!!!!! Perhaps she didn't read the sign she posted.

8/5/2020 we opened our mailbox to find 5 big bag crammed into the mailbox, this isn’t stopping. I have spoke with the Wonderful People at the Post Office and it Quits for awhile. We have had smashed Shutterfly envelopes with pictures in it. I know I have along driveway but this has gotten way out of hand. I feel the Mail Lady is to Lazy to deliver the Big Bags to my door. Please if someone would like to speak to me about it please get with me.Meriden is a Awesome Town to live in But the Mail Lady needs to Value her job she is doing a Horrible job at it.
