I love this practice and have coming here for 5 years with my two kids. Great doctors, great staff service, quality medical care and availability is wonderful! I highly recommend Dr Loch and would highly recommend for child medical care.

I will start by saying I have no issue with the care my child received. However, I have a huge problem with the billing department. Their website states they accept my specific information and no one at the front desk checked our new insurance at the time it was provided to verify it would be accepted. Thus, this resulted in me receiving a surprise bill for a visit that should be 100% covered. They then reached out to the insurance to get confirmation it was and should be covered to only then state it is no longer covered and that the bill is my responsibility. So, unless you enjoy surprise medical bills with your medical care - I would avoid taking your children here.

We are very happy that we finally found a doctor who cares, researches and listens!! Our son just recently turned one and we been seeing the same pediatrician since his birth at a different location. She was just following the protocol and we haven't felt we are listened or she ever truly cared... just prescribes you the generic stuff... Dr White at Johnson County Pediatrics was referred by our friends. She is that good old school doctor who questions everything, who digs beyond, listens and really wants the best for your child!!! We are absolutely thankful that we found her!!! We been with her since early November (which is less than a month) but during this item I think she was way more helpful than the other doctor for the last year! our son just recently had an allergic reaction and Dr White and the angel nurses went beyond to help us!!!We need more doctors and nurses like that! thank you all for what you do!!!

We’ve seen Dr. Tusken for just over 2 years, and love her! She is kind, speaks positively and firmly, and answers all of our questions.

I have been going there for 1 year as my baby just turned 1. When I went there for my baby’s most recent checkup, the girl at the front desk said that I had a $30 copay from 4 months ago, that I honestly had no idea about. The bill was addressed in my husbands name. I told her that I would bring the bill home to discuss with my husband. Next thing I know, some lady came out to talk to me saying that they NEED the $30 copay today, and threatened me! She didn’t even give me a chance to discuss the bill with my husband, which was in my husbands name anyways! I was so upset, and shocked to be treated in this manner from Johnson County Pediatrics. The pediatricians are great here, but the front office staff and business office staff are really rude!

Horrible. Dropped baby, botched circumcision, giving my son a vaccination after I told them not to because their doctors know better and after watching my son go into an allergic reaction, not checking my daughters labs after I asked them over and over. I had a platelettransfusion. Then themhiding that they were very high untilthey made sure should would not have heart issues due to their arrogance and disregard to my requests. These people treat their patients parents like plebeians. Horrible place..

My kids are 16 and 17. We have used this office since their births. From the first interview while pregnant til today we have had exceptional care. Dr Nelson, Dr White and Dr Engleman have been perfect for my kids. They partner with me as a parent giving encouragement and answering all questions. The sick walk in hours make everything convenient. The entire staff is helpful and kind. Great job team!

We have been a Johnson County Pediatric family since the moment our daughter was born in 2015. We started with Dr. Shaffer prior to her retirement and easily transitioned to being a patient of Dr. Riffle. We trust Dr. Riffle tremendously and are so grateful for her! Excellent practice, staff and I have been impressed with their accessibility.

Dr Christine white has consistently showed dishonesty. She has flip flopped her sides of masking vaccinations (hint she's not pro masking and pro vaccines). She said she was stepping down from Boe elections but once again she has lied. When you're a dr you should want to help everyone and not cast judgement vs being devicive and being judgemental of the "radical left". Shame on the practice for letting Christine white go rogue.

Our daughter was born in March 2020 at the height of covid fear and uncertainty. This practice, and Dr. Riffel in particular, went above and beyond to provide care for our kiddo. When I found out about Dr. White I was completely horrified but after taking to our Doctor about it I felt better. There is a note in our file that Dr white is never to see our child, and they are honoring that for several kids right now. Dr. White put this practice in a really tough position and while it bothers me that she works there, I can't imagine my kid seeing another doctor because the care we have received has really been incredible. I get the negative reviews here that pertain to Dr. White but I hope folks know that those docs exist all over and at least this practice is actively trying to deal with that situation. Masks are always required and always have been, they take great care to separate sick from heathy kids, and have always taken covid seriously.

I'm leaving the practice with my two children. Before the pandemic I took my daughter in (Jan. 2020), to get tested for the flu, she had a high fever and her breathing sounded awful. They requested my daughter wear a mask. The staff told me that anyone in the clinic with flu symptoms needs to wear a mask and we gladly obliged, I put a mask on my little girls face. Fast forward to the worst part of the pandemic, children are now getting sick from the delta variant. Children are filling up Children's Mercy Hospital- which JCP works with. Now, with children in ICU beds, they have a doctor actively fighting against masks in school. The same practice that made children wear masks before the pandemic is fighting against mask in schools! Hypocrites! I cannot take my children there, on the chance Dr. White will be the attending doctor that sees them. Really White, why have doctors/nurses always worn mask? How many people have you known to get sick from wearing a mask? Now, how many children have you treated for Covid? Your medical license should be revoked. You do not care for children, you care about winning an election.
