There are no kill shelters so that's awesome I did not find my fur baby there but they had a lot of nice dogs and it seemed to be they were taking very good care of them.

So thankful for caring hands humane society who helped add our cat to our family! She was just the addition we needed. I chose them after my mom found a dog through them. The application process was easy and when I picked upMy kitten they even had a donated pink house we got to take home with us that she still sleeps in a year later!

Had to edit after being blocked on Facebook for telling the truth about a terrible incident we went through. The Humane Society has done a lot of good. But if you tell the truth about something they do wrong, they block you and WILL treat you as though its your fault & will not apologize when they break their own protocols & will never admit to any wrongdoing.I found a puppy on a Monday afternoon. The next day, I did the right thing by checking to see if he'd been chipped at the Humane Society. He wasnt and nobody called about him. I told them I'd love to give the puppy a home. They told me I could foster him while they put up their 4 day hold to try to find a rightful owner. I agreed & understood if a person came forward in that 4 day hold, I'd have to bring him back. They also said IF a person came forward, they'd have to prove he was theirs with something solid to ensure he belonged to them. Shot records, picture of them or family with him, or vet records. This was Tuesday at 10 am. That same morning, they got his info & listed him on the lost pet site for people to check. They said they'd keep it up till Monday morning, we'll over the 4 day hold they'd told me. I was ok with that, though. So I agreed & was told Monday if nobody claimed him, I could put a hold on him to adopt him while we waited to get him neutered. I asked about the timeline & asked what would happen if somebody would come back after I put the adoption hold on him that Monday. I was told that once that hold was placed, the pup was mine & could not be taken from me. I wanted to know everything I was getting into because I was all in, but I would also understand if someone wanted their baby back. I just knew somebody would call over the weekend for him. But they didn't!I went in that Monday & did all of my paperwork & paid the hold fee. I offered to pay the entire adoption fee, but they said they could wait until after his appointment to be neutered later that Thursday. You're counting right, that was closer to a 5 day hold at this point. But, I didn't care about the extra day. The owners had plenty of time to come & claim him by now & even an extra day to do so. Rambo was mine now!I verified again & asked if this made it official. I was told yes, Rombo was & they said they'd see me Thursday I was relieved. Whoever could go 7 days by this point since I found him & never contact the Humane Society about him, didn't care much about him.So I take my Rambo to the pet store to get him a coller & a name plate with all my contact info on it & let him pick some toys. You know, what dog moms do!!At 4:45 later that day, almost 2 full days after the 4 day hold was completed, they called me. They said someone came in with "evidence" Rambo was theirs. They made me bring him back & threatened to call the police if I didn't come back with him. They said my hold no longer mattered because the owner came forward.Remember I asked before I fostered him & the day I placed the hold if this made him mine after that 4 day hold & what would happen if someone tried to claim him after the 4 day hold and was ensured that they would not do exactly what they just did. Also remember this was now well in to day 6 by this time.I was told by an employee after this happened, that they broke protocol. They didn't have anything actually proving Rambo was theirs. They had a photo of a litter of puppies. They didn't even identify which one Rambo was in the photo. They didn't know. There were no people in the pictures, one of the requirements they said would be needed. There were no shot records or vet records either. Apparently, this wasn't the first time they'd done this. AND I didn't get my hold back for him. So they took my puppy & my money. Why am I coming forward now publicly HERE? I saw someone else getting ready to do EXACTLY what I had been through a year ago. So I spoke up. Then the Humane Society b

My husband and I adopted a kitten about a month ago. The staff was friendly and helpful. I did fill out the application online which probably sped up the adoption process. (They called her Clinique, but we changed it.)All the cats we looked at appeared to be well cared for. We did not look at the dogs, but they didn't seem as noisy as other humane societies have been.We would definitely consider adopting from here again if/when we decide to get another cat.

Great place to look for a pet. They really want to help you pick out the right animal for you & your family. They are a no kill shelter and we love donating to them to support their mission.

The only thing they need is mire support from the community that they serve admirably. A new, larger facility should be a priority.

We found the most perfect little kitty cat here! (Lime) or aka sox, miss kitty meow meow. Is such a blessing. She brings joy to us all with her playfulness and snuggles. She blended into family life so seamlessly that it was like she was always here. Thank you guys for doing what you do!

Disgusting service. We entered and found two kittens we wanted to adopt. Talking to the people they told me that they refused to adopt them to us because they were going to PetSmart tomorrow. We called the PetSmart on the spot and asked if we could just adopt the kittens right now and PetSmart was more than okay with this! Caring hands got on the line and told them there was no way that was happening. So we went to the petsmart the next day to adopt the kittens. PetSmart let us know that Caring Hands gets money every time they outsource a pet and that’s why they refused. They treat these animals as bargaining chips to pad their pockets on top of the money they already make. I understand that nonprofits don’t make a lot of money but holy cow this was greedy to the next level.
