I unfortunately bought a maintence plan thru them. Even with a scheduled appointment, oil changes take around 2 hours (not sure how), getting ahold of them via phone is a nightmare (they constantly transfer you), and the quote on how much things will cost is always wrong.

Josh at the service desk was very quick and helpful to find the problem with my Jeep Wrangler and his Technician Devon was thorough with his inspection he made the necessary repairs and had me back on the road to home in a very timely manner would very highly recommend this shop

I ordered a maverick back in July of 2021 and was finally able to receive it in March of 2022. Edgar Delgadillo was very helpful through out the entire process. We did have a few problems getting it here but that was not Conklin’s nor Edgar’s fault. You know a Salesman truest cares when you are rolling up to pick it up and he is sitting on the curb shining your new wheels.

So we bought a car from here about 2 months ago. It was terrible. It was in the shop for repaired more than more often than it was in our possession. He didn't even get it registered before we found it out needed a new engine. A few days ago I called and spoke with the general manager and asked him if we could choose a different car. He said YES! They let us test drive a different car over the weekend and we signed the papers today! They bought back the other car for what we paid, and refunded or warranty. Now we have a safe reliable car that we have confidence in. Thank you so much, Brandon and Conklin Cars! We'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, I will not be visiting Conklin Motors in Newton, KS for service on my vehicles again. That is disappointing. Since moving to the area I have tried to find a trustworthy location to get my vehicles serviced. I was hoping a "dealership" would be that place. It is a simple thing, but service on vehicles is all about trust. It is always a struggle to find car businesses that will be honest in what they do - or don't do. I had the oil changed on my 2020 Ford Edge and I knew I had a low tire on the vehicle. Loses 4-5 pounds every 6 weeks. I asked the service tech that checked me in to please have the technician check the tire pressures all the way around (no rotation - just check tire pressures) and fill them accordingly. She said, "that was always included in their 17-point inspection, but that she would gladly write it on the sheet to make sure they take care of it." I got the oil changed, and as I went to pay, I asked the kind young lady if they checked the air pressures and was assured they had as "everything checked out great". As I am driving home I check the pressures on my vehicle and all 4 tires were the exact same as they were when I went in...one tire still 5 pounds low. So I waited and checked again later - still the same thing. I even checked them with my tire gauge - still 5 pounds low. So, unfortunately, if they cannot be honest with me in the small things, I do not know how I could trust them with the big things. Did they really change that belt, or just tell me they did? Did they replace that part, or just tell me they did? Does that part really need to be replaced, or do they say it does? Like I said, it is something simple, but trust goes a long way. So I will be looking for another place to get my vehicles serviced. Disappointing!

They were very professional and walked me through the issues. They answered all of my questions and I left knowing more about my car and feeling secured in my decision. I would highly recommend them to someone nervous about dealerships over recommending/pricing.
