I had a flat tire late in the day while traveling and they got me right in. These are incredible people. They did a great job of getting me back on the road for an affordable price, much less than I thought it would be. Thank you so much!

I started coming to J's a couple of years ago after a terrible experience with a different service place. I've never regretted the decision. They are simply amazing. Always remember my face and even asks about my job when they see me. Customer service is outstanding. I moved to El Dorado around 2 years ago and just recently tried to go to a shop that was closer and more convenient. Quickly realized it was a huge mistake. Biggest reason would be pricing. The local shop quoted me over 2000 for work needing done to my car. I called J's to double check because I fully trust them and they offered me the same work for literally half the price. Needless to say lesson was learned..... again, and I will continue to drive to Newton to use J's for all of my auto repairs and maintenance. There is literally no place better.

I had something happen to my car the day before a long road trip. I didn't know what to do or where to go so based on the reviews, I called J's to see if they could do anything. He told me to come in so he could check it out. I truly felt like he cared about me as if I were a family member. He worked quickly to get me to where I was able to safely leave the next morning! I would not hesitate to bring your car to J's.

We needed a tire replaced and they just happened to have 1 used tire available. They got me in quickly and got it replaced. They were very reasonably priced as well.

My wife, kids, and I were on our way to Colorado when the engine lost power just outside of Newton, which I assumed was due to an oil change my wife had just had done on her car that morning. We were able to drive it to J’s, the closest place we could get to. After explaining the situation, he immediately ran codes and checked the engine. Even though they were already busy, he got our car pulled in immediately to get us back on the road as quickly as possible. He kept us informed on his findings throughout the process of getting the car fixed in addition to informing us of other items needing addressed (but not in a pushy, salesman way). The staff were friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. They also took notes and let us take pictures of the issues so we could address them with the place we got our oil changed earlier that morning. If my family lived in Newton, they would get ALL of our business, especially being local and family owned. It may even be worth the drive from north Wichita just to have a mechanic shop with integrity and reasonable prices work on my vehicles. I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic. Thank you to J’s!

Josh was simply amazing.
He went above and beyond for me. Did way more than I asked and didn’t charge extra. He was a hoot to deal with, we had a good time. Will recommend to anyone I know over and over.

Took my car into J's because a dealership told me I needed a new transmission. J's doesn't do transmission work but they said they would look at it and tell me if it was actually the transmission. Found out that I had broken engine mounts instead, saved me tons of money and did the work quickly and fixed everything I needed done in a fraction of the cost the dealership was recommending. Showed me what was broken on my car after they fixed it. I will be taking my car there from now on, and recommending J's to my friends!

I'm not great with cars, but I have great respect for those who are and who are honest with repairs! I came in thinking I'd need to replace both tires; they let me know that only one needed to be replaced. The other just needed patched. Just them letting me know that instead of allowing me to go ahead and purchase both tires speaks volumes. Helped me save my money that I didn't know I didn't need to spend.
