This place is TERRIBLE! Don’t expect competent help if you have prescription questions or need a refill. It’s the same building, same computer system, but three employees will give you three different answers. If you must stay with Walgreens, I highly recommend driving to a different location outside the Newton city limits. But if you have a decision which pharmacy to use, stay as far away from Walgreens as you can.

I have been having so many problems with getting refills at Walgreens. Now this evening I can't even order a refill when I have the number.
The pharmacy staff always tried, but their computers have ruined their customer service based on the computers.

Don’t count on them to have your prescription filled in a timely manner. Can take over a week to get. They have done this same thing time after time for over an year now. I’ve try to be patient but have had it. My insurance made me stop using Dillons. Wish I could go back to them. Not going to use them anymore. After I get my last prescription fill hopefully first part of next week. If they get in so I can get it finally.

Showed up to pick up my photos that said they were ready. The female manager redirected me from the photo counter to the register. However, the cashier was clearly backed up with customers, and the manager just walked away. They couldn't find my photos although the order in their system shows ready. Which is okay, it happens. The cashier started the reprint process. I'm just upset at the lack of customer service and effort to assist from the manager. She could've helped find my photos for the cashier or jumped on the register for the cashier. But instead, she passed me off and walked away. Leaving the cashier with me and a line of 3 patient customers. Not a very good manager. Seems like the cashier is taking the brunt of the work and should be the one getting paid the big bucks. Naomi, you are awesome, and thanks for your help. Female manager, do better for your employees. There's no reason you couldn't have helped her.

Yesterday I went into Walgreens to buy a new tens unit for my husband. There was a $15 coupon off. Me trying to bring it up on my phone, was a disaster. The young man at the cash register tried to help me figure it out. Needless to say. He was very patient and super helpful. Even offered me a $5 coupon. Super nice helpful young man. I appreciated his kindness so much and glad he was there to help me. We need more people like this young man out there! Thank you, you definitely earned your pay yesterday. Hope they appreciate you just as much

The rudeness of the lady at the cash register to the customers was totally unacceptable. Snatching cards from elderly customers and just throwing receipts at others is not right. Won't be going back any time soon if that is the norm there.

Not the cheapest place to pick up essentials but deals can be found. Pharmacy is quick, easy and convenient and pairs well with their app. Their automated phone system however can burn in hell. It's like pulling teeth to talk to a real person.

Called the pharmacy with some questions about a prescription, the woman who picked up the phone was very rude and had no answers for my questions.

It was really busy towards closing on Saturday and the wait was about 30 minutes. I wouldn't recommend scheduling a vaccine at 5:15 when they close at 6....

Yet another store that makes you download an app to get the sale prices. Here's what I just submitted on their receipt survey:Your app made me hate shopping at Walgreens. It has been a while since I've been in, and my phone had uninstalled the Walgreens app to save space (you see, nearly every store has its own app now, and there's no way to have them all installed). Once I figured out how to allow the app store to download over cellular data, then I still had to sign in, which required opening my password manager (you can't use the same username and password for all those apps, after all, and there's no way to remember a strong password that gets used only occasionally). Then your app had to send me a text message to confirm my identity. This process took five minutes of me standing awkwardly in the aisle of Walgreens. At the end of it all, I was seething with hatred for what you put me through just to get the $1.00 discount that is POSTED ON THE SHELF AS THE PRICE OF THE ITEM! I'd like to say I vowed to never step foot in a Walgreens again, but I imagine that I will, at some point, return. But I will hate you and your stupid app for a very long time. The cashier was very nice. Don't take this as a criticism of anyone except your stupid marketing department.

I so disgusted with the pharmacy they called and said my prescription was ready I went to pick it up two hours after that and when I went up to the drive thru I was at the window and they said they will be right with with me I waited for a long time just to have them tell me my prescription was not ready and two of the drugs was something I already had and now I have three bottles of the same medicine it would be easy for someone who abuses drugs to get their fill of drugs at walgreens
